We could do better but things certainly aren't as gloomy as you think. you just need to read Seedorf's, Inzaghi's, etc. interview. they have some nice things to say about the club. (by "we" you mean the club, right?)

Yes, I meant the club. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) And as for Seedorf, Inzaghi and company, well it's pretty hard to imagine anything else from them now that they are leaving. My point was that it's not the Milan atmosphere of old, say up till the mid 2000s when it comes to club greats and legends, and an overall family atmosphere.

Things sure have changed a lot now, and pretty soon classic Milan will be a thing of the past. Now it's all $$$.

Maldini, yes. it's sad that the club's rapport with him isn't as good as it should be. I hope that changes, though. but remember, it's Galliani who seems to have a problem with Paolo, and that guy's been at/served Milan just as much as Paolo.

Yeah, him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Pretty sad state of affairs once you think about it. And frankly, for all the good he has done (and I do respect what he has done) Galliani can't be compared to Paolo. Some may call this exaggeration, but it doesn't amount to an inch to what Maldini has done for the club.

Considering as the best defender ever, he could have gone onto any other club and made his mark. Particularly during the darkest of days during the mid 90s and late 2000s. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) The biggest clubs in the world would have taken him, and I say this in full knowing of the name Maldini was at that time. Some younger fans may have started following Milan after 2000s, but really very hard to compare Maldini with the shrewed one (Galliani).

At best Galliani would have served as a (nobody) director at other Italian club. But the fact remains, that Milan made Galliani what he is, and that's not taking away the good deals he worked up all these years and the success he oversaw. If it ever came to choosing between a straightforward man like Paolo, and Fester, you know my choice.
