Do that and the world cup is over. If two of the biggest markets withdraw from FIFA, the world cup is finished.

Not such a bad thing going by how bad the last one was mind you.

FIFA do need to be stopped, I agree on that. But unfortunately it's their trainset.

If a nation pulls out of FIFA then their clubs go bust because they can no longer register their players.

This...is the potential biggest can of worms in football's history.

Would love to live to see that happen. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Freedom from the fascists, and maybe the game can bounce back. But probably too late for that, it's all about money these days. Money and corruption. Hard to go back for international sports once that happens, really hard. The golden period is behind us, sadly.

The only way a big change occurs is if the general public loses interest in watching football. Or the governments step in and demand the changes. FIFA knows that both possibilities are not on the horizon, and they continue to do whatever they feel like doing. Some may argue that there were undercurrents of this in ages prior.

But really, now this is on overdrive. And the game itself is put on the backburner like nothing.

Uefa and England being encouraged to pull out of FIFA now. On top of Germany.

This movement is gathering momentum.

Could be the biggest seismic shift in the world of football for decades. Maybe ever. And may finally see an end to the undemocratic, totalitarian corrupt heresy that FIFA is these days.

Bring it on! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) Though this is going to take some doing, not sure this wave will see it through. But I'm hopeful!

Ideally something happens, because FIFA are killing football (and thousands of people, no less) with their decisions. I think UEFA will not pull out, but what they will do is use their position to get a few things there way.

England to put out a B team. Scotland to win or game to be a draw. English media to go in to meltdown over a friendly where stars are rested.

Quite surprised at how well we played. 1st and 3rd goals were great. Particularly the 3rd, one of the best England goals in a while. Even more so with it being after Scotland had pulled one back.

Scotland didn't show up tonight. England didn't even have to get out of first gear. Too easy. We looked daunted by our own atmosphere while you lot took it in your stride.

Rooney played very well though, if he could do that in competitive matches there would be a lot less doubt about his credibility at that level.

Your left back played well. Not even just the goal, he just generally did a good job and linked up well with Anya who I'm surprised went off.

Shame the gif wasn't a bit longer as it was a great move.

Emirates Airlines already decided not to renew with FIFA, rumour is Sony is not renewing also. Coca Cola are voicing concerns. That and Germany and England both being vocal about their position on FIFA.

Still 7 years+ to go and the ball is already well and truly rolling. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Sony and Coke is a massive one. You can ban all the players you like, screw around with FFP nonsense all you want and buy every fucking vote under the sun, but if the world's biggest electronics manufacturer and the largest soft drinks company withdraw sponsorship it's hits you where it hurts more than anything else.

Money rules.

Is Sony the world's largest electronics manufacturer? I think Samsung holds that title nowadays.
