QUOTE (Fishdoll @ Apr 19 2010, 02:45 PM) This fish is annoyed with Ticketmaster and DC United. Tickets for the Milan game went on sale today and the only seats on offer are in the upper stands, behind the corners, or way back in the covered area on the bottom level (in other words, the crappy tickets). DC United doesn't come close to selling the rest of the tickets so I'm trying to see if I can get better seats. Gr. Are you going off of Ticketmaster or DC's website? (or are they the same?) Certain seats are probably reserved for season ticket holders, but other than that I can't see why they wouldn't list more available. I'm impatient as can be for Chicago, still no announcements or anything other than ACmilan.com and their blog. My only guess is the Fire are trying to sell tickets for a "sister city" tournament in mid-May before announcing this, but I'd imagine the news would be SOMEWHERE by now!

QUOTE (Fishdoll @ Apr 20 2010, 12:32 PM) Might be sitting with the DC United equivalent of ultras (cheapest tickets, good location, most excellent tailgate) for the game. haha, I sort of thought of that. Not that I'll sit Chicago's "ultras" section (laughably poorly named "Section 8", which is also the name for a govt housing program for the poor), but if this would qualify as being the first time I've ever gone to a game of any sport that I was a fan of the road team. Still no luck on finding ticket info for me. Although now in addition to the AC Milan website announcement, Google is also finding this thread, so that's something, I guess. cool, what fan club blog? It's finally been announced for Chicago! Tickets go on sale May 1, although the sales guy tried to convince me to get season tickets because the single game price will be high. I'm considering it, and then just selling all or most of the other game tickets. QUOTE ('Chicago Fire website') A.C. Milan will bring a number of high-profile players for its friendly against the Fire. Scheduled to represent the Milan side will be legendary midfielders Ronaldinho of Brazil and Holland’s Clarence Seedorf. Ronaldinho, the former FIFA World Player of the Year (2004, 2005), is recognized worldwide for leading FC Barcelona to two Spanish Liga titles, two Spanish Super Cups and the Catalan club’s second UEFA Champions League victory in its history. Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato is set to make his first trip to TOYOTA PARK. The 20-year-old forward has tallied 36 goals in 74 appearances since joining the San Siro outfit in 2007. Current World Cup champion Filippo Inzaghi, who has appeared in 184 matches for the Rossoneri and A.C. Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini will also participate in the match against the Fire. A.C. Milan is committed to fielding all of its star players at TOYOTA PARK who are not obligated to World Cup duties. Interesting that Pato is mentioned and Nesta is not. I wonder if that is a hint to who is making more progress in coming back faster from injury? Although, I would, if it were my decision, shut Nesta down for the rest of the season and these friendlies, just to be safe and give plenty of time to recover. I'd be tempted to do the same with Pato.

Well I suppose I could volunteer. I hate proofreading a fellow writer's work though. My style of presenting an idea might not be yours. If that makes sense?
