And also yes, Robinho played the ball. You could see it in the replay.

He did? Hm, I must have seen it wrong then.

The handball was very clear, but before that, in the same action, Ibrahimovic made a clear foul on Cannavaro and the game was to be stopped. That was the referee's mistake, and why Napoli protested so much.

And I've seen occassions where things haven't gone our way. The penalty should be what is debated not what went on 20 seconds before.

Managers are going to start debating decisions because of an incident 10 minutes before at this rate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Much is made of the supposed "partnership" between Pato and Ibra.....hate to highlight any negatives from a fantastic win but here were many clear cut opportunities that either one could have passed to the other and simply refused. I'm not discounting my own paranioa though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

Nice to see someone else notice this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) It's just funny and sad at the same time, and I'd put the majority of the blame on Ibra (with him being a senior player). He is the leader of the attack, and if both him and Pato work it out between them, they can be the most lethal partnership in the whole of world football. At least for the next 2-3 years.

I can count the opportunities when I felt the friction between them in this match on two hands, and I would run out of fingers. Both think they are doing a fine job hiding it, though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) But it gets more and more evident with every passing (pun always intended) match. Let's hope the worst is behind, and the two can get together and really work for the betterment of the team. Heck, Ibra was pretty much no where to be seen when Pato scored that 3rd goal, at least I did not catch a glimpse of the Swede when I watched it live. Cassano and Robinho were there congratulating him, even Van Bommel was there.

I agree to a certain degree, but if you notice Ibra treats everyone the same, he's a complete @sshole when he complains about a pass not being inch perfect. And yes they do seem to work individually more then anything else. It's Allegri's job to tell them to stop it with the nonsense.

As for Pato's goal, yep Ibra was there, he was on the outside trying to get his hand in and grab Pato's hair along with the rest of the team. Still don't believe that the friction between them is anywhere near what was reported in the press

Ibra's relationship with Pato is the same as with everyone else, at least on the pitch. Remember Ibra's reaction towards Seedorf in the Parma game? And that's Seedorf we're talking about. His weight in the locker room is the same as Gattuso's and Ambro's. Besides, when Pato scored against Napoli, Ibra approached him and said "Now you owe me two (assists), and they were both smiling".

True, but Pato is the one with the most talent, and who knows maybe bit of an ego too that comes with it (sorry ZD, meant that in a harmless way). Even if not, then again the Brazilian is the direct competitor of Ibra. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I mean if Ibra's form really goes down to an extent that the coach is forced to bench/rest him for a few games, it will be Pato that takes up the attack. So maybe Ibra views it this way. Recall how a few players were paranoid when we were about to sign R80, they felt that their place was under threat.

And remember what I said above Ibra wanting to be the biggest fish in a pond? He is just not the type of a guy to see someone more popular and having more fan-love than him while he is in a club. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) For what it's worth, Ibra's troubles at Barcelona started the minute he felt he was not the numero uno in Barca. But yes, I agree Ibra teats everyone the same, been the case ever since.

Let's hope you are right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And it doesn't get serious, that would be bad for the dressing room. The way Pato celebrated these last two games was evident enough that something had been brewing inside, maybe for the coach or someone like Ibra. A little competition is always good, but players should not overdo it.

I will watch it next time in detail and keep an eye on both these players and how they conduct during a our next few matches. I would suggest you guys do so too, something is there between them - however small that something may be.

LOL, okay even if we go by your line of thinking that things are not as bad, I hope the management at least keeps an eye on things and not let it get out of hands, in case there is some friction. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) We have had very few bumpy incidents in the past, but now thing are different with proven hot-headed-personalities in the mid.

Well, part of it lies also on the fact that there's been much pressure on Ibra that we all missed to recoginze. He started strong with Milan and carried us for a few matches; but in fact I think he's insecure - he knows this is a chance he cannot afford to blow. If he fails in Milan, like he did in Barcelona (in fact did not, but the perception of his Barca stay is negative and noone can do anything about it), he cannot expect another shot a this level (maybe EPL, but that means City) and more importantly, the Champions League trophy moves further away from him.

But this is just me trying to understand Ibra in a way. Generally speaking he's a bully with bad manners and a awful personality, which often means goals and one-man-shows but also disagreements. This is why I belive Rino Gattuso isn't useless as some would suggest. He's a good friend of Ibra and he's the one who can bring him in order.
