QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Feb 15 2011, 10:56 PM) First off. Anyone complaining about the 'bias' of the broadcast, then saying our 'goal' should have stood.. fucking hypocritres.
Secondly, it's not over. We're only 1-0 down and there's no reason for us to go out and attack too much at Shite Hart Lane. Remain respoinsible at the back, don't overly commit today like we did for their goal and a goal is going to come. There is no way we go 2 games against Spurs without scoring, so just play the 2nd leg like any other game.
An early goal and they'll start to panic. It's not over, FAR from it. Forza Milan. Our gaol could have gone either way, we've seen them given before... Anyways, not going to talk much about it, imo goal or not, we still have just as much to do. they have the away goal, had we scored, we'd still have gone into the second leg essentially a goal down, we deserved it for the mentality we put out there. Having said that, I agree with what you're saying about staying calm and playing our game when we're away, and I would have had confidence had this been just a couple of years ago under Carlo. If that guy didn't do anything right, he knew how to play these ties like a charm. Allegri imo is the real problem, just like Leo was last season in the CL. His decisions tonight were terrible, and even more terrible was the mindset in which the team came out tonight. Playing Thiago in midfield, makinf Rino and Flamini act like some sort of psuedo box-to-xo/playmakers was even more idiotic. Benching Pato?? Enough said! Personally I have no faith in us doing the business away. Allegri just does not have what it takes for the CL, we'll go into that game with the entire wrong gameplan, we used to play those away ties like a charm back in the day, this time, I can see us trying to camp in Spurs' half like we did today and getting constantly caught out. We just do not play a smart game under Allegri. And with the amount of injury problems we have in the midfield and will still have when the 2nd leg comes around I really can't see us doing anything more this year. The only time I ever miss Carlo is when it comes to the CL and Allegri has proved again why that is.

QUOTE (jagar @ Feb 15 2011, 11:44 PM) 1 That damn goal shoulda stood (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) it was a foul for a push and an offside... how was it a goal? QUOTE (William405 @ Feb 15 2011, 11:48 PM) Cesare Maldini rant on Gattuso. God's father is a God... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) (by definition? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ) QUOTE (armiss @ Feb 15 2011, 11:48 PM) With so many troubles this season and our very weak fullbacks and in center of the ground without any star i admire Allegri work so much specially our second half , i think with a good market on the summer he will dominate europe !! how can you think about next season when you've just seen that? QUOTE (Jack Bauer @ Feb 15 2011, 11:48 PM) Just disgraceful for a club like Milan to lose like this at home to a team like Spurs. I don't care so much about losing... I did not think we would go through and I don't think we will now... but that attitude was disgusting, I never wanted to see this in Milan. QUOTE (Milan Are Brilliant @ Feb 15 2011, 11:56 PM) Liked Pato tonight, everyone else was pathetic. To think players like Sheva, Rui Costa, Maldini etc used to play for us and we turn into a dirty mob (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yes, Pato was good. I don't understand why Seedorf started and he did not and I'm not saying that in hindsight; it's obvious you're not going to stop a young and energetic team with Seedorf. What has Pato done so wrong this season that everyone is criticizing him? All because our savior Ibra does not like him? QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Feb 15 2011, 11:56 PM) First off. (second time this has happened though maybe I should learn) QUOTE (Milan Are Brilliant @ Feb 16 2011, 12:03 AM) First off, I hate England, now I'll continue... I was unsure when I quoted you, I get it now. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm not excusing our behavior though it has to be said that both Palacios and Sandro were playing a very dirty game!

QUOTE (Ry4n @ Feb 15 2011, 11:58 PM) of course they do but its still comming out arabic when he speaks italian (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) can you understand what he's saying if so can you tell us please. Ah,yeah I know Arabic. First,he congratulated Tottenham on their good performance. Cesare went to rant on Gattuso. He said, that Milan staff should take action, and he had never seen this kind of thing happened in Milan. He also said that Gattuso corrupted Milan's reputation.Blabala I don't remember for now Also, loloo.Ibra said that his goal was offside. Then the commentator said "I think it was a foul",then Ibra said "No no,I think it was an offside" (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Ibra also said that he isn't satisfied of his performance, and said that it's his mentality, not to be satisfied/happy with performance... Allegri said that even if he'd play the same match over again,he'd put the same players on the field.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Feb 15 2011, 11:14 PM) Agreed.
We were better in the 2nd half but still struggled to create. Pato and Robinho kept going wide and Zlatan was up front.. who in midfield was going to create anything? Flamini and Rino aren't going to make a defense breaking pass (I'm sure some will point out his pass against Parma though!) and Thiago was playing very deep. We needed Pirlo today, especially once Seedorf went off. The parma pass was a fluke, even Rino himself scratched his head after that one. Imo the management have made it clear what they're after this season, which is the league, we're depending on Cassano a lot in the league, so does Ibra who looks lost without him. Van Bommel as well has come in and taken a lot of the workload from the midfield, and both players are cup tied. Suddenly we have to play such a big match without them, and at to that t we didn't have either Pirlo or Boateng. Imo missing Pirlo as you said was our undoing, relying on Flamini and Rino is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to Allegri, he just likes to stick in as many distructive players as he can at one go, see what the strikers can do with the constant long balls. Next game Allegri seriously needs to get his act together, stop this little experiment with Thiago in the midfield, play Pato and not let petty differences influence his decision and really get his team to play and not come out with an already won mind set. Imo the players defeated themselves today not Spurs, who had an admittedly good start for 30 minutes or so but the rest was all Milan. The fatal mistake was in how we tried to get the goal, it was ametourish at best.
