This cannot be happening. All my love for Galliani will evaporate if this happens.

When did Tuttosport ever report anything real about Milan? This is just a rumor. (But I'd be very angry if it became reality.)

I think Galliani is focusing on Criscito. He really should.

If Galliani signs Criscito, I'll love him for the rest of my life. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

With all these injuries Emmanuelson could get a starting spot really quickly.

i doubt we get Criscito. Genoa would be mad to get rid of him... They have simply lost too many players in defense last summer.

Well, they got Antonelli from Parma as leftback, so it's not like they lack options in that department.

Big problem. It's not just tuttosport. It's all over Mediaset as well - Milan after Marc van Bommel.

Problem is, Antonelli got injured. But we're still in talk. According to Mediaset, the deal could be ended in our favor.

Initially Papa was goona play a bargain chip, but Nestas injury pulled it aside. That's good because Papa was very good yesterday.

MN says only need a signature, all agreements made. Year and a half contract. FML we don't need this guy.

The only videos I can find on youtube are Van Bommel being a total douche. Why? Why are we going for this guy? No class at all! Surely that money can be used somewhere else!

He is a douche, just like Ibrahimovic is. Honestly, the only difference is that Ibra is world class and this one just isn't.

I've been watching him ever since he came to Bayern. Can't say he did them some harm really. So, even if the whole story is bad and I don't like the thought of him at Milanello, let's give the guy a fair chance.

Worst thing is, we have a pretty young coach who now has to deal with a Molotow-cocktail called Ibra-Cassano-Robinho-van Bommel.

Whatever opinion we may have of the guy, logically speaking, he still has some fuel left in his tank. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) He may be our Lucio, albeit one who prowls the midfield. I am okay with his signing if it comes through, MVB will do well for another 2-3 years at the top level. And besides, he is the smoothest criminal I have ever seen when it comes to tackling. The guy can pull all sorts of shenanigans, and the referee won't even pull out a yellow.

But I agree with Fillipo in the sense that he keeps his shenanigans on the pitch, and not blow up in the dressing room. And I have got a felling he won't. The guy knows that this his probably his last chance at top flight football, after which he'll wind up. That's the reason why Bayern Munich have made a policy of not singing/renewing contracts of players over the age of 30. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) And that's why all the hoopla of Schweinsteiger renewing with them for what 6 years recently. So essentially he will be with them till the age of 32. Good policy to have on hand, and that is one reason why we are signing MVB in the first place. The Germans would probably have kept him on for another year or two - he is there captain, after all.

And frankly the way Gattuso and Ambro have fallen out of steam lately, we could use another pair of feet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Sure it could have been anyone else, but at least a new face is arriving, and this shows that B&G are dead sure that they want to win the league title this year. And this also shows that Allegri's days could be numbered real low if he fails in that. What with all the signings the management has made. Scudetto or nothing seems to be the call. And me likey!

I agree with Fillipo, let's judge him according to what he does here. You can probably look out videos of most players being Douches...I think he's better than Ambrosini, although I'm not a fan of the player.

I disagree with the most of you. Current standard midfield: Gattuso, Ambro, Pirlo. Van Bommel is good at defending and he can acutally also play a good pass and be present in the offence.

I always liked Van Bommel. Not just because he's dutch but he's a really good midfielder. He was (imo) the best player for his national team in the WC and he's very important for Bayern. He is 33 yo but we will sign him for 1.5 years and we will pay a transfer fee of 2 mil max.

If we sign him and someone like Cricito this week I will make a Milan jersey with the name 'Galliani' and #1 on the back.
