Nobody could see this coming after the marvelous season he had? The overreaction here is quite puzzling.

Well that is just great. Until ancelotti leaves this will happen to all of our upcoming young talents. Imagine Viudez or Cardaccio or Mattioni have a great season at another club. I doubt they will return here with this jack*** as our coach.

Now that Gourcuff is gone the only right replacement that i see is Riccardo Montolivo....He's quite skilled, fast, good passer and scorer...plays similar to Gourcuff n Iniesta...we should definitely get him honestly...plus he defends and attacks too

Milan To Announce Leonardo On Monday - Report
The Rossoneri are set to clear things up early next week with regards to the coaching position...
29 May 2009 05:05:51

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Leonardo is the new Milan coach and will be announced on Monday, the day after the delicate and decisive clash against Fiorentina, while current boss Carlo Ancelotti will be joining Chelsea, as widely speculated in the past weeks.

This means that the former Brazil star will move from behind the desk to the bench, with Mauro Tassotti being his assistant coach and Filippo Galli being offered the possibility of directing the youth sector.

The Rossoneri are also flirting with the idea of adding a new member to the technical staff: the tactician.

The chosen person would study the upcoming opponents extensively so that he could then report to Leonardo.

Another change involves the medical sector, where Professor Meersemann will not follow the first team anymore following the advice of Leonardo to Adriano Galliani.

Milan Lab will be modified under the structure and organisation profile, whereas Daniele Tognaccini will be confirmed as responsible for the physical preparation.

I don't understand this Leonardo thing. We've been having one bad season after another and instead of trying to improve things they are making next season as our transission season by hiring a coach like Leonardo.

Imo next season will be another season wasted for Milan

I have my doubts too, but the most important thing for me personally is saying goodbye to Carlo and bringing a new coach.

Rijkaard remains the ideal choice, but I wouldn't mind a "MvB+Leonardo" tbh.

Thing is, I really think we need a coach-winner; someone who can actually bring in experience, a winner-mentality and a system that is proven. That's why I don't think MvB and Leonardo can bring us a step forward.

I don't like and never will like those "every change in direction is positive"; that's why I disliked the 2008 US elections; because it was irrelevant who the candidates were - a mentality of the general voters was already set - any new president who's name is not Bush will be better. That wasn't enough for America (maybe for a smaller country, but for the ww leader not). Same with Milan. Milan desereves more then just "any change = better position".

Some rumors/suggestions (mostly tuttomercato):

- Digao to Fulham
- Pirlo and Seedorf with Ancelotti to Chelsea
- Milan after Flamengo defender Juan
- Gargano (Napoli) considered by Milan
- Berlusconi calls for Ronaldo (CR)

No, any change is not better position, but at this point, any change = the beginning of a road that leads to a better position. I don't expect us to return to being a contender overnight. in fact I think we'll be lucky if it's going to be only one unstable season after bringing a new coach. but that's a worthy start and it will sooner or later lead to that "better position".

Report: Napoli net Quaglia, Cigarini

There are strong reports Napoli have secured the services of both Fabio Quagliarella and Luca Cigarini for next season.

Two good signings if true.

Wasn't Cigarini a target for us?

Well with leo as our coach i'm guessing more brazillians than ever.

2 i think we should really go after is: Kerrison and Hernanes. They will come together for probably around 30 million but they are both great upcoming players and have the potential to be legends of the game.

- Berlusconi calls for Ronaldo (CR)

Seedorf can be taken gladly, but Pirlo would never happen. Next to Kaka and Pato he's one of our prime assets. We'd never let him go as some sort of packaged deal to Chelsea (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

And I'm guessing the CR rumour comes from the fact that Berlu whispered something to him as he was passing him after collecting the loser medal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

If we're going to consider anyone from Napoli it chould be Santacroce and Hamsik, those are the only 2 players that would really add something extra to our team.

And are we ever going to stop shopping around Digao. We should just keep him with the team, it's obvious that he's not going to improve from what he already is so why keep loaning him around? It would obviously make Kaka happy by having his brother on the team and it's not like we're paying him a multi million pound salary
