That's big. Didn't Sagnol create their first goal?

Either way it was from his side, I thought the guy that replaced him was pretty average, Lell or whatever his name is. Good news for us I suppose.

I think Leel was good. They started to play better after he came in. He has pretty good speed and technique

If Sergio plays the return leg, he'll have a field day with him playing at RB.

Yeah I thought Lell was good for them, his pace and fresh legs mixed things up. Still, in a 90 minute game I like our chances on his side.

im sorry to say we need a new Goalkeeper i like Dida but hes past his best

i missed the game but i just gotta laugh cuz the other day and in the past few weeks everyone was praising dida. i'm not pointing you at as one of those that praised him so much but sorry dida has this habbit of these blunders when we're in full control of things. remember last year all the **** goals he let in and the all the mistakes for example diarras goal(caught in No mans land like today)... remember him against roma this year in coppa or against inter...i remember talking to an inter fan last year and he said he thought our weak link was dida, which rare with a top team. obvious it's not over but it's gonna take something special to get us out this one....

something made me very sad while watching this game

for the first time, i saw Dida scared of the ball

on both goals he is not standing firm and he should have made saves that a mediocre goalie should make. his eyes are closed and he's ducking his head away from the ball...just sad

imo, the rest of the team played great...pirlo's goal was brilliant and oddo looks better everytime i get to watch him

dida just really surprised me tonight...he is THE most dominating goalie in football...but tonight he was brought down to nothing

oh and hargreaves marked kaka out of the game lol sorry but everyone has to admit that. i think everyone underestimated him and i had a feeling this would happen especially when some were talking him down before the game... Bayern are lucky and we deserved a full win tonight. Dida played his best, but i can't blame him. How would you react if a shot was taken from less than a meter to your face? Its natural reaction, i would have done the same.

the natural reaction of sumone who isnt a keeper... sorry man but he was weak on both goals. in both cases watch the reaction of th defenders... none of them expect a goal cuz buyten shouldnt be able to score from there... obviously the def could have done better but still dida should consider using his hands to try and stop the ball or maybe someone should remind him thats his job unless he forgot... Defence was to blame, we can't be depending on miracles. The first goal he didn't even expect buyten to get a shot. Nesta should have been there first and unfourtantly he wasn't. The second goal, i'm gonna take a wild guess and think that dida thought the ball had been going out instead a shot being taken place.

The only reason he was marked out of the game was because they were double or even triple teaming him everytime he touched the ball.

BTW does anyone read somewhere what Silvio said after the match?

I heard he directed some critics but I couldn't find them anywhere in internet!

Well very disappointing, first live game I've got to see this season. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It was probably the best game we've played all season till the point in which we conceded. We looked very solid all around the ground. We didn't create alot but what we created were as good a chance as you possibly could create. Defensively we stopped bayern create anything or control the game in any sense.

Both goals were very soft. First goal, unfortunately was the only mistake from an otherwise perfect game from nesta. Played such a great game, commanded the backline but his one lapse in concentration cost us a goal. And the second goal I think was cruz who climbed all over nesta and gattuso. No idea how no foul was called since he took both players out of the play.

We definitely should have taken our chances though, lets face it when you get to this stage its those moments that define who goes through. Gila and kaka' should definitely have scored in my opinion. However gila made up for it with a clinical lob which was wrongly given as offside. Once again uefa f@cked over milan with a woeful decision. Regarding the kaka' penalties first one was definitely a penalty in my opinion and obviously the second one was a terrible decision. Bayern fans are obviously going to whinge about that penalty, but that offside decision is probably going to cost us advancing to the last four. Especially now with no gila for the 2nd leg.

I wouldn't say were out of the competition as many have already. We seem to struggle when we play teams with a first leg lead. So at least this way we have to press for the result but obviously we could get done on the counter. Our striking options are also very limited which definitely won't help the cause. I think we just have to roll the dice on playing oli and pippo together. Can't play this one striker sh@t cause it'll make it hard for kaka' again.

Milan are due to pull something out of the hat and I'm just hoping its this game that its meant for. I'll go with a 2-1 away win to us, so fingers crossed. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Yes Ottmar definitely acted smart. he knew we couldnt keep up the tempo.

the return leg? bommel is back so we wont have the same easy access to the midfield, and im sure pippo and oli wont do a ****.

we will see, now on to empoli (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
