I thought we were good defensively in general terms. Tomori and Thiaw cleared everything up well and we closed down spaces well when we lost the ball high up.

This was the usual BS goal we concede when everyone starts relaxing.

Thiaw and Tomori have such high ceilings, but they need to be switched on at all times. That's what makes a good defender become great. Becuase they have all the technical qualities to be top top CBs

We scored three times despite being mediocre for the most part. Until the 25th minute it felt like the game had not even started. Too many back passes to Maignan, stationary players in midfield, no options for passing. Our ball possession is absolutely shite.

The penalty was a gift from the ref. For me that's never a penalty. Similar to the one conceded to Juve last week. You can't just see handball and indicate the spot. The dynamic was clear. The Torino defender was pressing on Giroud, that's why the ball landed on his hand.

Also, that was an asinine goal to concede. Lucky Torino how a miss-kick ended up being an assist, but we left so many players unmarked.

Finally a good assist, cos 99% of his passes have been rubbish. If Leao learns how to calibrate his shots and passes he can become twice as good as he currently is.

I wouldn't say we were mediocre. Yes, we kept it relatively slow and stale in the first 20, but we really showed some great patterns after the 1-1 imo.

For me, it's just a relief know that we can still score when Rafa is half asleep. Because last season, both this and Bologna would have been draws/losses without Rafa driving the team on

Last season we struggled every time we faced them. Same thing the previous season when we won the title.

Juric is a good coach and has his team set up well. So it makes me even happier that we've created some good opportunities and scored from them as well.
