Why two Atalanta threads?
Anyway. Another must-win, but the Bergamo team cause us trouble occasionally. We have a strange history with them.
My prediction: 2:1 or 2:0 for us. Seedorf could score..

QUOTE (Darunia @ Mar 27 2008, 09:33 AM) Our players should be decently rested, Pirlo, Gattuso played only a half vs Spain. yep. Pato played around 30 mins and I also think Seedorf played only in the second half (I'm not sure) then, Nesta, Ambro, Paolo, Oddo, didn't play at all..... so it seems that we'll be fresh.

Pippo may be recovered enough for the bench for this game -- there might be a little extra motivation for him to be fit enough for a (brief) appearance in this one as his kid brother plays for Atalanta.
I'd really like to see Pirlo rested - start him on the bench and put him on if needed - for this one. The poor guy's knackered.

Here's Gazzetta's probable formation:
Kalac Oddo Nesta Kaladze Maldini Gattuso Ambrosini Brocchi Seedorf Pato Paloschi
Frighteningly uncreative with three defensive mids, but...Pirlo really needs the rest and can come on if things fall apart.
Here's the projected bench:
Dida Jankulovski Favalli Pirlo Emerson Gourcuff Gilardino

I suspect not, sansiro1708. He did physical therapy today so is probably not going to play at the weekend. He may be back for the Cagliari game and will almost certainly be back for the Zebra game.

He may be back for the Cagliari game and will almost certainly be back for the Zebra game. That probably means another match with that guy who calls himself Pirlo... He needs to be rested. But Milan Kakaless and Priloless. Can we relay on just Clarence?

Hrm. Well, Gila recovered from his 'flu' enough to train with the team today and score a goal in the practice match, according to the 'today's training' piece on acmilan.com's italian page. He may get the start.
Bonera has recovered from his foot injury and also trained with the group, which to me is good news.
Pippo, Cafu, and Kaka trained separately.

QUOTE (jefri91 @ Mar 29 2008, 03:55 PM) To be honest I dont think we can finish 4th place. Weve got a game with juve and inter. and no way we can beat them. we can barely beat a team like atlanta and torino. viola only have inter to worry about and thats it i have faith! i think we are gonna beat inter in the derby and that will put roma on top (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

A Very serious Message :
Pato: The agony and the ecstasy Sunday 30 March, 2008
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alexandre Pato gives himself “eight out of ten†for his performance so far this season and reveals the shocking illness that almost ended his career.
The Milan hitman started his campaign in January due to a legal loophole over his age, but has already netted seven Serie A goals.
“I give myself eight out of ten, but it would have been more if I had been able to score against Arsenal,†said the 18-year-old.
“I promise the fans that I will take Milan to fourth place. I am very happy here, as I have the most enjoyable job in the world.â€
Pato is famed for always scoring on his debut – doing so for Milan, the Brazil youth team and earlier this week the senior Selecao squad too.
“I hope to keep that trend up and score in my first derby!†he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
Pato debuted that goal celebration after his first Serie A goal – holding his hands up to create a heart.
“When I score, the heart is for my girlfriend Sthefany and the smile is for the fans. It is a nice gesture, as I like to be at peace with the world. Sthefany and I love each other and we want to get married, but not this year.
“It hasn’t been easy for me growing up without my family around me. At 16 I saw my mother five times in 12 months. It was tough for both of us, but I shall always thank them for giving me the opportunity to choose.â€
Pato also revealed a shocking moment in his life that almost cut short his playing career before it had even begun.
“In 2000 I had a tumour removed from my left arm. I broke my arm when playing with a friend and they didn’t put the cast on properly.
“When they looked deeper into it they saw a tumour. The doctor Paulo Roberto Mussi operated on me and said if they’d caught it two months later my arm would have been amputated. I was very fortunate.â€

There were audio problems for the first few minutes. It's now one of the SerieAtv guys. I think it's Visca, so it's bearable.

@ nova
They should show the players the result on the score board, hopefully it will give them more incentive to win

Scores do get shown periodically through games, btw. Listen for reactions from the crowd.

Wow, finally a pretty pass from Pirlo. Pity about the offside though; would've been nice to see Il Capitano score.
Shot of Arrigo Sacchi and Cesare Maldini in the stands. Aww.
