Traore is a Flamini type player. So we could be seeing Urby there again this season unless Monto manages to do well there.

I've read that Traoré is somewhat similar to Boateng, i.e. box-to-box mid that can cover almost every position in midfield. And knowing Allegri's fetish of fielding muscle above quality, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried Traoré as AM when Boateng won't be available. Although, Montolivo instead and Aquilani as RCM would make more sense.

I just read that the Isla/Asamoah deal is 15m euros? What a bargain if it is.

They'll be co-owned, if I'm not mistaken.

And we don't have 15 million lying around now, do we? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Probably not, seeing as how some of our players were costing us 7m, 8m even 9m a season. Even Mexes shouldn't have been signed on for 4m (should I say 8m) a season. I know he was free, but much better to start him at 3m and put a performance bonus clause in.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Malaga are ready to offer €15 million for Robinho, who'd be earning €6,5 million per season.

Link

I'd sell him on the spot. Promote El Shaarawy as fourth striker choice, and sign a quality DM with the money.

I'd try to pinch them for a bit more, we did pay around 18m for him. If not I'd cave and send him on his way.

Get Strootman, re-sign Aqui and call it a day. Maybe get Didac back in from loan and sell off Mesbah

I like it how we talk about players we've never actually seen play in superlatives; last year it was "sign Ganso", then it became "sign Eriksen" (I also participated), now it is Strootman. Well, Ganso turned out to be then big next nothing, while Eriksen so far disappointing me (doesn't necessarily mean he ain't good). I think we should widen the DM search.

According to what was published earlier when Robinho was linked with Malaga, he doesn't want to play there and would only consider leaving Milan for Santos in the future. So I wouldn't hold my breath.

I've always been a fan of buying domestically, any DMs people like from Serie A teams? Aside from unrealistic targets of course.

Haha, once you cross the dark side, there's no return. That being said, never in my life did I watch at Milan a player (at Robinho's level) consistently missing chances after chances. 2 seasons is enough for me, and he gives me the feel that with more time passing he's getting even worse.
