L'Equipe claims Thiago Silva is very close to signing with PSG, who've offered us an amount between 40 and 50 million. Thiago is already in Paris and will sign his new contract on Wednesday.

Link

Thoughts? I call it bullshit. There's no way Galliani is that dimwitted to sell our best player at this particular moment, even for such an amount. But if it turns out to be true, words would fail to express my disappointment.

We can wait until Wednesday and see, but it's 99.99% BS IMO. at least I hope so.

But then again, it was reported Galliani was ready to offer Ibra captaincy to make him stay. if I were Silva and senior to Ibra at Milan by two years, that wouldn't sit well with me.

silva is on lesser wages, younger then ibra and we have much wose defence compared with stikers. If we had to sell one then selling silva over ibra makes no sense at all. Lets just wait for wednesday or a denial..

Although Berlusconi pledged to keep TS .. I secretly would like him to leave.

With that said, I hope his sale brings in better reinforcements.

Galliani hasn't commented on the rumor yet. I guess something might be happening for real. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Oh come on, man, a club that has a revenue around 250m wants to sell the only best player in the world in its position that they have (as in the world's best defender) at the first jingle of coins. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) 100m I can understand, at least that will ease the pain a bit, but I'd much rather sell Ibra for the 40m mark that is been thrown around.

Reports are gathering pace that Thiago Silva is on his way to Paris Saint-Germain after their interest in the Milan man was confirmed.

Stories in France this morning claimed that the Brazilian could sign for the capital club as soon as this week for over €40m.

“We are trying to negotiate for Thiago Silva, but it won’t be easy to sign him,” PSG director general Leonardo, who coached the player at Milanello, stated on Monday.

Meanwhile, the stopper’s agent has also added more fuel to the fire after he confirmed PSG’s desire for the Brazilian.

“For now he is still a Rossoneri player, but anything can happen,” Paulo Toninetto told RMC. “I know that PSG are interested in the player. Let’s see what occurs.”

The Italian club recently claimed that they were 99.9 per cent certain that Thiago Silva – and Zlatan Ibrahimovic – would remain.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani was questioned by reporters outside of a restaurant in Milan today, but he refused to comment on the latest rumours.

Former Brazil boss Dunga, in an interview with TMW, revealed that he would not be surprised to see a transfer happen.

“Thiago Silva is the strongest defender in circulation,” Dunga noted. “He has great potential and everything needed to become even better.

“PSG are after him and he could be a great reinforcement. Leonardo will do all that he can to take him to France.

“I know that he wants him at all costs and, even if Milan will try to keep him, I think the move will take place.”

Barcelona and Manchester City are also interested in the player who cost Milan €10m from Fluminense in 2009.

French daily Le Parisien claims that Thiago Silva touched down in Paris this morning to start talks.

Great just great,no more will we have the best defence in the whole world :/

We will keep hold of Silva and then claim it's like a new big signing. the management's tricks have become cheap and predictable. it's the same ******* shenanigan every once in a while with our stars in demand.

Though unquestionably, we will most probably sell Silva in a few years' time, but not this summer. just like Sheva and Kaka were eventually sold. people running this club have become ******* incompetent. I'm suck of this ****.

And P.S.: **** PSG.

Sportmediaset confirms it. Thiago Silva will join PSG for €50 million, whilst he will earn €9 million per season. Both the club and the player have agreed on the transfer, with Thiago calling a few of his teammates to announce his departure. Even Galliani himself didn't deny nor admit anything when asked about it. Milan Channel on the other hand have issued an official statement denying everything.

I can't believe we're selling our best player. After Sheva and Kaka', another painful departure. We've become a ridiculous club. And the worst part about it is that not even half of those money will be invested into signings top players.

If we sell Silva, then probably Ibra will leave too.he wants to win something in his last years and we know there won't be a huge reinforcement,Berlu pockets the money to balance the books. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
we are gonna be a EL spot contender.
