I don't get it, how are Nesta's and Totti's cases related?

They were talking about De Rossi actually.

Yup. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Nesta and Totti are miles apart, in more than one respect. But what I mean to say was that we try and prize out De Rossi just like we prized out Monty from Fiorentina (I know it's not official yet). Sometimes a player gets so bogged down with not winning anything major that he is ready to explore new horizons.

And I really don't see Roma winning anything soon enough, at least not ahead of us, inter or Juventus.

I know it says undisclosed but here's my estimation of each transfer. They are based on observations of several media reports over the last 4 months:

In:

Nocerino: 500k
Ferriera: free
amelia: 3.5m
Boateng: 8m
Comi: 1m
El Sharawy: 10m
Aquilani: free
Mexes: free
Taiwo: free
Ibra: 8m (installments)

Total spent: 31m

Out:

Borriello: 3m (installments)
Papasthapolous: 6m
Onyewu: 1.5m
Verdi: 3m
merkel: 5m
All loans combined: 5m

total sales: 23.5m

(the loan fee could be higher, but I'm just estimating a safe number)

So we have spent approx 7.5m this summer, which makes sense since our money is being saved for Ganso.

But none of the money which you point out as incoming is an all cash immediate pay deal right? Could just be installments again?

Could be but I don't think it is because there were no reports about any of it being installements.

But we won't know until gazetta does their piece.

It's pretty common place that almost every deal nowadays is done in installments.

Great. Another prospect... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

This is now totally pars pro toto speaking but...I'm getting tired of the prospects we're collecting and piling up just to ship them off to a Turkish team or at best show them their way to the labyrinth of Italian co-ownership deals and clubs. What's the last Milan prospect that really turned out to be great? Abate maybe, and before him?
