QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jun 21 2007, 10:40 PM) I suppose if Eto'o isn't for sale it can mean 1 of 2 things. 1) R10 is, so we get him. OR 2) R10 and Eto'o are staying put, meaning I really can't see Henry joining, giving us a shot at him. Either that or we won't make a big move this year, they keep hinting at it. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I think they're gonna keep both Eto'o and Ronaldinho, and will add Henry to heir squad as well! I really can't see Ronaldinho joining us. that's really disappointing.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jun 21 2007, 09:27 PM) I don't see them having R10, Messi, Eto'o and Henry all in the same team, but it is possible. ----------------- Eto'o ----------------- Henry -------------------------- Messi ------------- Ronaldinho -------------- -------- Iniesta ------- Xavi ---------- 4-3-3, Ronaldinho doing "a Deco"? I really doubt. I simply can't see those 4 together upfront. Their team would be r*ped every single week in counter-attacks, La Liga style.

Maybe I just like conspiracy theories, but I'm beginning to think that work hasn't stopped on acquiring whoever the 'big surprise' player is. I really do think that Fester's recent statements regaridng the market have been smokescreen. Still no idea who it is if it's not one of the Barca strikers or Henry, but I guess we'll find out in the next couple of months.

QUOTE Oh...yeah right...are u accusing the Orlando Bloom of the Middle East of hitting on a gal (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I do agree that we are over reacting. We can't possibly expect transfers to happen every day for the next whole month. If Suzao is all we are getting, I will be disappointed, but not pissed. Maybe they know more about Gourcuff's ability than I do. I honestly believe, we need 3 more players/ 1 holding+semi-creative midfielder (u know like Carrick, who's not the best playmaker or the best holding type, but a bit of both). I don't care if he's 32+. 1 fullback who can play on the left. We've loaned Grimi out. Sergio and Janku for the whole of next season??!!! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Someone who can challenge Janku for his position. Janku does lose his concentration while defending sometimes. 1 young talented centre back. Some big strong Senderos kinda persona who needs fine-tuning. Then I think we're good to challenge for all trophies.

One note on the need for a new defender: from what I've read, it sounds like they really may move Matteo Darmian up to the first team. He's the kid who last year was moved from the Beretti to the Primavera. He's all of 17 or 18, but he got a higher rating in Gazzetta for the minutes he played in the Udinese game than just about everyone but Billy. He seems to have a lot of potential. Maybe they're counting on him?
