Didn't watch the match. Is Ibra any use or is he part of the walking wounded as well? Thoughts on de Sciglio?

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Apr 11 2012, 01:19 AM) Didn't watch the match. Is Ibra any use or is he part of the walking wounded as well? Thoughts on de Sciglio? I don't know about the others, especially his fanboys who'll worship him no matter what, but Ibra's been on my nerve lately. awful. As for the #52 kid, had a bad 1st half, in the second half he was more solid but still made weird mistakes, misjudgements, etc.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) I've been seeing this guy play for years, and when he's fresh he's at his peak. The moment things get tough (knockout matches, last leg of the season, etc) he just gets back to second or third gear. Last season it was Pato who saved our collective behinds, Ibra was back to being awful. This season Allegri said that he'll play Ibra selectively, just to keep him fresh. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) And we all know how that went.

He held the ball up well, tried too keep it as much as he could for us, was basically playing in midfield, winning possession, putting in tackles.

Yes, I'm pretty sure he did at the start of the season. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) But then Ibra started banging in the goals (and well, penalties), got high up in the charts as the top scorer, and I am sure greed took over. He wants to play every match, all 90 minutes so he can score (and help us win, I am sure). But it's a classic case of passion over sanity. Ibrahimović is a tall lad, weighs quite a bit too, and as good as he is built, his body can't stand all this play time.

No he dwelled on the ball way too much, misplaced a lot of passes and made a lot of mistakes. at least that's what I saw tonight. I'm not saying he was bad at everything he did, that was Seedorf.
