Here's a clip I dug up from youtube. I think there are too many goals of MvB, but people ignore his other aspects. He was a genuinely complete forward. And he retired at 28!! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Should rightfully have been the striker of the 90s. Damn..the b@st@rds who kicked him out... MvBNobody's ever come close since. Closed spaces, open spaces, left foot, right foot, cross, through ball...it was all so easy for him.

Many footballers, coaches and journalists see him as the most complete forward there has ever been. The rest consider him one of the most complete... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Damn, I wish I knew what football was in his era. What a marvelous player! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

He remains my favourite Milan player, even above Maldini.

QUOTE (Il Capitano @ Feb 22 2009, 09:51 PM) I'm also one of those poor souls that didn't see MvB play. I became a fan right that year when he retired and when the great milan era was about to end. We're so deprived my friend, so deprived. Thank God for making up for it! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

You really don't wish to live anymore do you? But there are less painful ways...like putting your head on a railway track. You were a nice guy Soho. I wish you all the best in your next life... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I can only remember seeing MvB play in the WC 1990 when I was still a kid. Needless to say I wasn#t cheering for him at that time (IMG: style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)
