P!ssed about the clean sheet

Tomori let us down today man. Stupid yellows on both occasions. Now we have to go without him in the derby.

Would have won by more if not for the red imo.

The handling of the 10 men situation was really bad

I really liked our shape in general when it was 11 v 11, but the game management once we went down to 10 was abysmal.

The players as well kept trying fancy sh!t instead of just recycling possession. Okafor the only one who played smart imo.

Calabria backing off Spina there for their goal. He really needs to cut out the reverse defending at times. Keeps backing off and backing off.

Guys, this match was identical to Roma-Milan of two years ago. 1-0 at HT, 2-0 somewhere around the start of the second, then around the 60th minute we get a red for double yellow (back then it was Theo). Roma get the upper hand on possession but are not very dangerous, until the 92nd minute when they score (El Shaarawy then). The last 4-5 minutes are an agony. We even scored on pen then as well.

When the 92nd minute was clocking in I said now they'll score, and 5 seconds later Spinazzola does. I swear, identical games.

Anyway, Tomori f*cked us big time. I knew he was gonna get a yellow the way it was going between him and Belotti. Pioli should have subbed him off at HT. Had it been 11 v 11 Roma wouldn't have stood a chance. Terrible, terrible side. At HT I think it was +200 v 90 passes and 70% v 30% possession. We would have walked this.

I'm a bit worried about Okafor and Chukwueze. They look so clunky and out of shape, especially the latter. Even Messias was more impressive then what he's shown thus far...

Chukwueze yes not been great but hopefully with time will gel in.. i think its just a very different league to la Liga.

But man the midfielders all three rlc, rejinders and krunic have had a great start to the season.. rlc and rejinders are so good box to box and krunic is doing quite well in the DM role.

Totally!!! After the game I was like "hmmm, this seemed familiar". Went to check out the match stats from that one and I laughed. Even the reds came at approximately the same time.

Tomori f@cked us even worse because he's miss the derby. Belotti was obviously trying to get him sent off all game. There were a couple of very obvious dives before that to try to get the ref to bite. It ultimately happened. And both yellows were pretty soft imo. Pioli should have taken him off at HT. Now we're screwed again Inter. Kalulu has not yet looked anywhere like the player we saw in the Scudetto season.

Re Chuck and Okafor. I though Okafor looked pretty good when he came on. Made all the right decisions when he had the ball. But yeah he needs more conditioning overall.

Chukwueze I think he needs games. He won't start again Inter, but I really want to see him starting the game against Verona after the derby. He looks like a player who needs to get into his stride to start producing.

Agree totally re the overall game. Would have probably won by more if not for the red. We were very dominant and made it look easy for the majority of the game

Agree about the midfield

Before the season started I thought it was our weakest area, but having watched RLC and Tijjani now, I am seriously impressed. Same goes with Krunic and how he's sweeping in that midfield and dropping between the CBs. Really like our overall shape

Most underrated player at Milan Rade Krunic:

V Bologna: most passes completed among any midfielder & 95% pass acc

V Torino: most passes completed among any midfielder & 91% pass acc

V Roma: most passes completed among any midfielder & 96% pass acc

Credit should be given where credit is due (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

What I want from Krunic is to spread play more. He always does the short pass. Sometimes there are opportunities where he can open the play more but he never takes them. Otherwise, he's doing a great job atm

Those stats are a bit lying. The only reason Krunic has so many passes is cos we play the ball among defenders way too much. There are many instances throughout the match when we can't build up play, so we just passes it between the defenders, Maignan and Krunic back and forth.

Not saying Krunic had a bad match. On the contrary, he's been decent in these first three games. But anyone looking at those stats will be thinking 'Wow, this Krunic fella must be one hell of a baller' when in reality it's only cos of what I explained above.

I think I want more from Krunic too, but what matters is what the coach wants.

You noticed how Calabria was playing central midfield and Thiaw right back with Krunic slot next to Tomori? Seems as though Krunic is playing a deep #6 role.for the team.

What I appreciate from his play is breaking the lines, recovering the balls, ensuring Milan hold possession and spreading the play.

It is still early to say if he has excelled this season. But credit is due that he is doing a splendid job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Newcastle

F*ck me. Of course we would get the toughest group of the lot. Tonali returning to San Siro already bruh.....

Newcastle the only tough side in there. PSG flatter to deceive in the UCL season after season, Dortmund are not the force they used to be in the Klopp days.

Milan have a very good chance of going through actually.

I think Newcastle and Dortmund are on the same level. PSG are still PSG. Plastic club but with immense talent in their midst. Some people say we'll top the group but I can't see it.

Really? Newcastle?

They're good. But PSG have difference makers.

They might not be a proper side, but getting rid of some of the egos this summer could go a long way for them. Plus Enrique is a great coach.

Dortmund have started off badly but they're a good side.

Out of all the Italian sides, we got the sh!tty draw. Which p!sses me off because Lazio were in the same pot and they got the easiest group you could get and you know Sarri is going to punt it anyway.

Let's see how it goes, but there's no easy 6 pointer here like we had last season.

Newcastle losing 3-0 to Brighton.

Tell me again they're the best team in the group.

EPL hype machine is insane

Yeah. I saw Newcastle against Liverpool. Liverpool were one goal down and one man down for most of the match, yet they managed to win it in the end.

Newcastle lack experience and proper quality. They're by far the worst team in the group, in my humble opinion.

PS: Chelsea lost 1-0 to Forrest. What a joke. How to spend one billion and still be utter garbage. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
