Midfield I think is okay, don't think we should change it yet. The transitions are going to keep happening no matter who's on.

Why commit so many forward when there is still so much time?

The simple way to play Inter would be on the counter. Isolate their slow CBs against our fast wingers. Instead we do the reverse and let them counter us. Just unbelievable. The defence on the first goal was shambolic as well.

Thiaw has a lot of potential but is still too green to expect him to lead the line. Kjaer is finished. Not signing a proper CB to rotate with Tomori/Thiaw/Kalulu could cost us in the long run

Milan's midfield, i.e. its engine room was completely changed. The only real test they were put against was Torino, Bologna and a crippled Roma.

inter however have been playing for several seasons. You can't expect the same cohesion.

Yes Milan plays sexy football, but inter plays a solid brand.
