QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Aug 27 2013, 06:17 PM) But don't Saponara, Eriksen & Honda all play kinda of play a similar position? I think it would be either or, not both. Not that I have a problem with both arriving. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I read somewhere that Eriksen mostly plays as a CM at Ajax. Can anyone confirm this? QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Aug 27 2013, 06:18 PM) Have we signed Birsa for sure? Is he really useless? I think he's having his medical tomorrow, he was in Via Turati yesterday. So yes, pretty much done and his agent denied rumours that he'll be going to Brescia on loan. As for how good, he was half decent at Torino, but this is Torino we're talking about. e's basically at the same level as the rest of the players we have on this roster who do nothing but leech wage money and we can't get rid of QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Aug 27 2013, 06:18 PM) With all this talk of Marti & Astori, I am going to be very upset if these two fools arrive and none of Eriksen, Honda, Sakho or Ljajic arrive! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) You can cut Ljajic off that list And personally I wouldn't be surprised, Allegri wants him and Umberto Gandini confirmed on Twitter that we're going after Matri FFS. Who will cost us a minimum of 10m, and the real f@cking issue with that isn't that he's a mediocre player that earns 2.5m a year, and it isn't the fact that we'd be giving Juve 10m to spend on an actual quality player, it's the fact that he'll be coming as come sort of panic buy to cover for Pazzini who will be back in October. So when Pazzo is back we'll be up to our necks in mediocre strikers (barring Balo) As for Astori, it's being said that Galliani wants Sakho but Allegri the dimwit prefers Astori. I personally think we can't afford Astori. PSG want 9m for Sakho, so it's within our 10m max bid setting. It's just ridiculous that this is what we've been reduced to, going after Cagliari rejects

QUOTE (Jack Bauer @ Aug 27 2013, 02:42 PM) Called it few days ago, of course he wouldn't wait for us forever. Galliani pissed them so much so Fiorentina didn't want anything to do with us no matter what.
This transfer window is just a big train wreck for us while all our CL place opponents got stronger. Gonna be a very depressing season. Doesn't make sense. A direct quote from Fiorentina's sporting director this week when asked if he would sell to Milan is "Never say never." So, obviously, they don't hate us that much. And the bit about the player not waiting for us forever also doesn't hold much water because if he's waited all summer, what's one more day? Why would he jump ship to Roma when there is only a day left before we know what our budget will look like for the year? If the player chooses Roma, its not the fault of Milan, its because the player made a personal choice to go to Roma, for whatever reason. I think if a meteor struck the earth tomorrow and wiped out half the planet, whoever remains on this board would be on here blaming Berlusconi and Galliani.

So I read Roma will be giving Ljajić a 10M contract. That's the thing, surely.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Aug 27 2013, 03:12 PM) Football clubs aren't dumb though. If I were Roma, knowing Ljajic wants out of Fiorentina, I'd give him an offer and say "You've got until the 27th of August, take it or leave it" Does Ljajic take the offer or risk staying at Fiorentina if Milan don't get past PSV and can't afford him? Not to say this has happened, but anything can happen behind the scenes really. Good point, and they very well could have done that. I guess in this scenario, he has to decide how bad he wants Champions League ball.

Thay have been bitching about us and how we handled things all summer long, just few days ago their general manager said that they will “only sell Adem Ljajic to a club that behaves correctly with us and within the sporting rules.” talking about Milan so to say they don't hate us that much is just (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) and I can bring you many quotes like this. We made our offer to them few weeks ago, regardless of CL outcome and they rejected it. Fiorentina tryed for the past weeks to sell him to other clubs like Spus and A.Madrid, just not to us. One day wouldn't have made any difference because he understood that they were determined not to sell him to Milan. He wanted to stay in Italy and choose Roma. He wanted Milan but not at all cost, of course. It's not just this, our whole tranfer campaign has been pathetic so far, even more than last summer, but some will be defending the mighty Galliani and buy his bullshit no matter what.

Disagree completely. http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2013/08/de...leave-the-club/http://www.fanatix.com/news/fiorentina-own...ew-days/141732/There's two sources for you right there, with a date of August 27th of their posting. If you can show me something more recent, where it says that Fiorentina wouldn't sell to Milan, then we can talk. Its the players choice, not bad management. Sorry, I'm not one of the cool kids who just blames the management for everything. The window isn't even over yet. If you've followed Milan for any kind of extensive period then you know that we operate best at the very end of the window. It makes no sense to grade the performance of anyone or anything until the window is shut. If September 3rd rolls around and we still haven't reinforced the squad, then I will be just as upset as everyone else. Lets also remember that we're sitting here arguing over something that hasn't even happened yet. Maybe he signs for Roma, maybe not.

Lets also remember that we're sitting here arguing over something that hasn't even happened yet. Maybe he signs for Roma, maybe not. So he said 'Never say never' so what (on the day that the deal to Roma is almost done)? They have been bashing us for months with articles like that: http://www.football-espana.net/35564/ljaji...ld-correct-club saying everywhere that we approached the player first instead of talking with them. Add to that all the bad blood from last year, so no wonder that the did everything that he won't arrive here. It is a bad mangement, just like in a Honda case, where teams are fed up with Galliani's tactics and don't want to anything to do with us. Players choice was to arrive here (we agreed terms with him long ago) and he waited long enough and with different aprocah it might have ebded differently. I graded the transfer window so far and not that just we can't buy, we are having trouble to get rid of many dead weight players we have. If you've followed Milan for any kind of extensive period then you know that it doesn't always work that way - check the last 10 years and see that on every Ibra & Robinho end of window you can find many more in which we did almost nothing in the final days besides maybe findind some sort of nice cheap deal that wouldn't be enough this time like it wasn't enough last year or two years ago.
