LET'S RESTART FROM PATO6/25/2009 3:22:00 PM There have never been any doubts on Pato. He will have his contract extension. In any case he already has a contract until 2012. There's nothing on Pirlo. No requests or offers: nothing. This is what Adriano Galliani said today in Lega Calcio. MILAN - These are the declarations left by Adriano Galliano today in Milan after midday, before entering the Lega Calcio: "Pato? I'm absolutely happy of his declarations. We have always spoken with Pato, then the declarations that arrive from other continents are often misunderstood. There were no doubts and there are no doubts. Pato wil have his contract extension and we shall restart from there. He has 20 years and I continue to think that in the world there isn't such a good player of 20 years. In any case, no one must worry, because Pato has a contract until June 30 2012. Pirlo? For Pirlo there's nothing, there's no request and there's no offer. A request for Andrea Pirlo never arrived at Milan. The only one that arrived is for another player, a monstrous offer, from England, I won't say from whom, for a player who is called Alexandre Pato and is newly wed." The other declarations, starting from Edin Dzeko: "He's a Wolfsburg player," highlighted Adriano Galliani, "And I prefer not to comment. Obviously if Wolfsburg call me up I will rush there. He has expressed his desire and I think that he will continue to express his desire to come play at Milan. As an old football director, I say that it's difficult to hold on to players who don't want to stay, but everyone does what he thinks is best. However right now we are searching for an attacker. Dzeko is the first objective. Luis Fabiano could become an objective, if we do not reach Dzeko. Luis Fabiano like other attackers, because on defenders and midfielders we are not moving. Adebayor? Could be an alternative. I had a cordial meeting the other day with Arsene Wenger and we said that we would have spoken again if there were the conditions." The other topics, starting from Aly Cissokho: "With the Porto president we are friends for many years, it's true what he says. The contract was sealed even with a handshake, but it was cancelled at the medical visits. The medical found that there were problems and with a written opinion by the doctors I cannot do otherwise. Without these problems, the player would have joined us. Either cissokho arrives or we keep our players, we have signed Abate yesterday. On Cissokho there are no limits there are no end terms, he can also arrive later, because either he arrives or we keep our players. Real? It's true that if Milan wanted, it would have priority on the players is excess. It's the result of the friendship with Florentino Perez. However, we are searching for a striker. Not Van Nistelrooy. At most Huntelaar, but for the time being we're on Dzeko." http://www.acmilan.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=86895

QUOTE Milan Chasing Corinthians Star Andre Santos - Agent
Roberto Queiroz de Andrade, agent of Corinthians defender Andre Santos, has confirmed that Milan are after his client.
The Rossoneri believe that Santos is the ideal recruit now that Porto's Aly Cissokho will not join them after failing the medical in the past week.
"Yes, it's true, Milan want the player," affirmed the agent to calciomercato.com. "Now it's up to Corinthians to decide.
"His price? The club is starting from a base of around €25-30 million, but in my opinion we can easily close for €20m, including the commissions.
"If Milan are really interested, then they must move quickly because there are other clubs who are making a move, from England, Russia, Spain and Turkey."
Roma are also rumoured to be in the race to sign the full-back, but the price could be too high for the Giallorossi. I don't understand, I thought with Dzeko we couldn't sign anymore non eu... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) anyways here is the need info on this player: Full name: André Clarindo dos Santos Date of birth: March 8, 1983 (age 26) Place of birth: São Paulo, Brazil Height : 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) Playing position: Left back

He's not worth 20m imo
We should really start looking at Serie A first for these kind of players or we'll get burned on prices if we're going to go for these hyped up Brazilians

QUOTE Report: Milan Plan To Replace Andrea Pirlo With Arsenal Ace Cesc Fabregas
The Italian press are convinced that after selling Brazilian superstar Kaka to Real Madrid, Milan are also poised to sacrifice Italy international Andrea Pirlo to reduce their massive wage bill. The Rossoneri will then launch a bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
General manager Adriano Galliani yesterday insisted that there are currently no offers for Pirlo, but new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is supposedly keen to reunite with the playmaker at Stamford Bridge.
Negotiations could take off next week, and with Pirlo out of the picture, the Corriere dello Sport claims the Via Turati directors will knock on Arsenal’s door for Fabregas.
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to table a €28 million bid for Pirlo, while Arsenal will demand no less than €35m for their prized asset, who would be offered a lavish five-year contract at San Siro.
Fabregas yesterday moved to quash rumours he was considering leaving the Emirates Stadium for Spanish giants Real Madrid, however, he has recently admitted that Milan would be his first choice if he were to move to the peninsula.
Milan are also keeping tabs on Sao Paulo star Hernanes for the post-Pirlo era, but the Brazilians have slapped a €40m price tag on the 24-year-old. no way in hell its gonna happen but its nice to dream (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE For transfer guru Claudio Pasqualin, the chances that Fiorentina hold on to their star midfielder, Felipe Melo, are very low, despite the fact that they do not want to let him go.
There are many clubs chasing the Brazilian player, with Milan, Inter, Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid all thought to be interested.
"I think that for Fiorentina to hold on to all of their champions is very complicated," declared Pasqualin to Lady Radio.
"In particular I think about Felipe Melo, for whom there is a lot of pressing from many important teams in these past days."
The team closest to Melo seem to be the Rossoneri, as yesterday it was reported that there was a meeting between the Milanese giants and the Viola.
It would be a popular signing for the Diavolo, as a recent MilanNews survey showed that the supporters would welcome Melo to the club. Hmm interesting... But hes brazillian. We only can sign one non eu... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
