Why does it seem as if in recent years we've been going for players past their prime?
...Oh I know - because thats exactly how it has been (IMG:

Anyway, below is one of the latest reports which I am sure we'll hear lots more of in the coming days/weeks
And although Luca wouldn't be my first choice striker, I would mucccchhhhh prefer him than Adebayor.
Coupled with a good price, and performaces which prove critics (of player's age being 'too old') wrong 'once again', I mighten mind this one that much at all. (IMG:

Milan Still Interested In Bayern Munich’s Luca Toni – Report
The Rossoneri are still confident of signing the hitman in the upcoming transfer window.

Milan are in desperate need of some strength and power up front as they look to improve their squad for next season. One player that has been identified as an ideal addition to the squad is Bayern Munich’s Luca Toni.
The former Fiorentina man has been on the agenda of the Rossoneri in the past; however, this time around, a possible move looks a little more likely, following the news that his German club recently signed Mario Gomez from Stuttgart.
Despite the new signing, Toni’s agent, Tulio Tinti, denied that his client would be leaving the Allianz Arena this summer as a result.
The latest reports coming from Italy oppose these comments though, as Sportsmediaset has claimed that the Milan director, Ariedo Braida, personally called Toni to discuss his intentions for the future.
Following the alleged conversation, it has been reported that the Rossoneri are extremely confident of luring the world champion back to Serie A, so there should be several developments in regards to this particular move in the coming weeks.
