QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 11 2012, 03:29 PM) L'Equipe claims Thiago Silva is very close to signing with PSG, who've offered us an amount between 40 and 50 million. Thiago is already in Paris and will sign his new contract on Wednesday. LinkThoughts? I call it bullshit. There's no way Galliani is that dimwitted to sell our best player at this particular moment, even for such an amount. But if it turns out to be true, words would fail to express my disappointment. We can wait until Wednesday and see, but it's 99.99% BS IMO. at least I hope so. But then again, it was reported Galliani was ready to offer Ibra captaincy to make him stay. if I were Silva and senior to Ibra at Milan by two years, that wouldn't sit well with me.

QUOTE Reports are gathering pace that Thiago Silva is on his way to Paris Saint-Germain after their interest in the Milan man was confirmed.
Stories in France this morning claimed that the Brazilian could sign for the capital club as soon as this week for over €40m.
“We are trying to negotiate for Thiago Silva, but it won’t be easy to sign him,” PSG director general Leonardo, who coached the player at Milanello, stated on Monday.
Meanwhile, the stopper’s agent has also added more fuel to the fire after he confirmed PSG’s desire for the Brazilian.
“For now he is still a Rossoneri player, but anything can happen,” Paulo Toninetto told RMC. “I know that PSG are interested in the player. Let’s see what occurs.”
The Italian club recently claimed that they were 99.9 per cent certain that Thiago Silva – and Zlatan Ibrahimovic – would remain.
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani was questioned by reporters outside of a restaurant in Milan today, but he refused to comment on the latest rumours.
Former Brazil boss Dunga, in an interview with TMW, revealed that he would not be surprised to see a transfer happen.
“Thiago Silva is the strongest defender in circulation,” Dunga noted. “He has great potential and everything needed to become even better.
“PSG are after him and he could be a great reinforcement. Leonardo will do all that he can to take him to France.
“I know that he wants him at all costs and, even if Milan will try to keep him, I think the move will take place.”
Barcelona and Manchester City are also interested in the player who cost Milan €10m from Fluminense in 2009.
French daily Le Parisien claims that Thiago Silva touched down in Paris this morning to start talks. Great just great,no more will we have the best defence in the whole world :/
