Strootman's agent says that they will see after the Euros...

That's not so hopeful. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Why, you thought we'd already agreed terms with him and PSV? It's still too early for that. I'm optimistic personally.

How odd. I posted to you twice and you didn't reply. But you always reply when I disagree with you!

I'm afraid his preformances for Euros will make it harder for us.

Sorry about that, I must have missed your post.

What's his performance in the truth market like these days? I remember he used to be a barefaced liar, saying things like we were finished in the window then 2 days later signing Ronaldinho. He used to be prone to a porkie - what's he like in recent history? I've not paid so much attention.

He's the same. He doesn't have the guts to say what's going on behind the scenes or mention names to the media. It's not that he lies, though, he just doesn't want to create a fuss.

Why, is he a starter for Netherlands?

Probably. He has taken over Nigel de Jong's starting spot a while back. No garantuee it will still be the case at Euro's, but very good chance he'll be a starter.

And in my opinion he usually makes a good impression for the Dutch team, so if same happens at the Euro's it makes him worth more, and more popular.

De Jong had a poor season for Man City, so I wouldn't be shocked if he wasn't a starter for Holland.

QUOTE
Italian giants Milan insist that they will resist the bombardment of offers for key defender Thiago Silva.

The Brazilian is again being linked with an exit after Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was spotted at the Diavolo’s HQ this week.

“There is an assault on him,” stated Vice-President Adriano Galliani. “All of the big Spanish and English clubs want Thiago Silva.

“He’ll stay at Milanello though. We’ll resist all of the temptations and there are strong ones which exist.

“All of Europe want him, including clubs with great economical power. We’ll do all we can to keep him.”

Silva is seen as a vital figure at San Siro given the departure of Alessandro Nesta, as is star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“After the Novara game on the last day of the season, Ibra came to my house,” Galliani continued when asked about the Swede’s future.

“I spoke to him for two hours and I hear from his agent on a daily basis. I’ve not been told that he wants to leave.

“Like Thiago Silva, Ibra will stay at Milan.”

Mancini’s visit, however, did also spark suggestions that Milan could again be interested in January target Carlos Tevez and City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov.

“The Tevez train has gone,” Galliani added. “We have never been interested in Kolarov – especially as we have four left-backs already…”

The former Lega Calcio President was also questioned on the futures of Clarence Seedorf, Mathieu Flamini, Maxi Lopez and Alberto Aquilani.

“I’ve still not seen Seedorf, while Flamini has to tell us whether or not he will accept our renewal offer. Maxi Lopez and Aquilani won’t be signed.”

The first pair are out of contract this summer, while Lopez and Aquilani are on loan from Catania and Liverpool respectively.

Galliani added that Milan are not looking for a new striker, while a defender is an objective. He also declared that Stephan El Shaarawy would be signed outright from Genoa, while the Rossoblu would take full ownership of Alexander Merkel.

With El Sharaawy,I think it's safe to say we have enough strikers.Anyway,we can always get Paloschi. We need to put all our focus on getting that midfield and defense better :/

Also in addition to that,Gabriel will be our third goalkeeper.

LMAO @ the 4 LBs comment. Galliani at his best.

One thing to note is that we might renegotiate with Liverpool to get Aquilani. But,we won't sign him outright for sure. That might happen with Maxi too,I really believe he will come back here sooner or later to Milan. He clearly loves this club.

He also said that today Pato will undergo the last magnetic resonance in order to be considered "fully healed".

Yeah, right, like we're buying that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
