Next season we need depth, Gila is hopefully smart enough to know that he will get enough playing time.

Pippo and R9 are great, I'm not denying that but both are injury prone, Ronaldo is still trying to get back to his peak fitness and I personally can't see him lasting an entire season playing every 2 days, neither Pippo, and even if this world class striker comes in it won't be enough. Having a proven Serie A scorer in the squad would be the most ideal and there is no one more proven then Gila in Serie A in that age bracket.

I know you don't like him and all but you seriously need to lay off his back sometimes, he's not disrespecting the club by what he's saying just wants competition for places to be fair and not based on names.

I dont really understand why Gilardino is acting like this.

For the way he played this season he should be happy to actually be a regular starter.

But in the end I dont think it's wise to sell him now , esspecially not to Juve or Inter. Why not wait another year. Oliveira is probably gonna leave and borriello , i dont know , loan him out or something.

Then we would have Ronaldo , Inzaghi & Gilardino + the striker we will sign. Ronaldo & Inzaghi arent gonna play every game , so there are plenty of chances for him to prove.

Zambrotta actually said that this was the case in an interview a while back.

And at the time inter and Juve formed some sort of friendly relatioship and us and Juve where going through a bit of an ongoing war of words through the midia.

Zambrotta in this interview said himself that he preferred to go to Milan and that Juve sold him without consulting with him first. And the where his actual words, if you don't believe me look through the past threads and you will know what I'm talking about

Plus the deal was made one month and a half before Milan were guaranteed CL footbal. And when we were actually allowed entrance in the CL we only had one week before the end of the transfer window... Yeah I know you don't really like Gila (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) but let's not compare him with Oli, Gila has scored over 30 goals for us in 2 seasons Oli has just 3 in 1.

To me Gila is the best option, and why should we sell him and get another striker? He is a seasoned pro in Serie A and next season everyone knows that we will have a full calender.

Oli imo has only proved himself good enough in to Coppa.

Next season if we manage to keep this forward line we will be set

R9, Gila, Pippo, [world class striker]

That will be enough to raotate and keep EVERYONE happy for the entire season.
