QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Aug 25 2014, 09:34 PM) Well I pay to support the team, not the management. When I do that, I contribute to Serie A income and Milan, making it a richer league. As the money obviously will go to Serie A and not exclusively Milan through BeIn. But han I would never expect you to, your our Rebel (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I think you're the only outcast on this forum R7 with the way you constantly defend this management's decisions (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) The money might not go directly into the management's pockets, I don't need to buy a TV subscription, I have a dreambox sort of set up so that point is moot for me. But when it comes to buying merchandise or thinking of taking a trip to Milan to watch a game, I'll pass, because that is money directly into the management's pockets, money that they absolutely have no intention of re-investing into the team, no matter how small my contribution is, when it's in the 10s of thousands of people who are doing this very same thing (a clear indication by the plummeting season ticket sales so far) it will hurt them and it will show a clear sign that a lot of fans are not happy with what they're doing

Be it a mug, a shirt, subscription, whatever.

A shirt and a tv subscription. Toying with the idea of getting a cuore rossonero card now that it's open to foreigners, but not sure what use it will be.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Aug 25 2014, 10:06 PM) I do not support the management, I support Milan! You are mixing up common sense (from my perspective) with common bias. The money contributed will never really be reinvested, instead it shall narrow the bottom line net losses, that is if you have been paying attention to our YoY losses. A dreambox is basically stealing and you complain of Milan being cheap? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) PS Every little bit helps is what I am saying. Money that goes directly into the management's pocket is not "help". If I knew this management were actually serious about this club I'd have no problem with it. We're about to probably go and waste huge money on Torres and our winger ambitions from names like Iturbe and Costa have spiralled into Biabiany levels, no midfielder has been bought, this after they repeatedly told us that we must make sacrifices when they sold star players over and over again, we sell Balo, save million upon millions just in wages and we haven't spent a single dime of it to make the purchases that will improve this side after a disastrous season. We won't even spend 3 to 5m on Dzemaili FFS!! We're only trying to go for dry loans like some Serie B feeder club, I know money is tight and Berlu doesn't want to finance the side like he used to but this is above and beyond!! So no I won't spend any more money on this club, I don't live in Italy so I cannot protest by not buying a ST, but I can not buy a shirt which I otherwise would have had they show one small iota of ambition this summer As for the dreambox, yeah it's stealing (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) but everyone here has one because the system in Malta is utterly f@cked up, you have to bring in 2 cable/TV services to get all the matches from the big leagues + CL, that means paying for the initial installation and then paying even bigger fees for the sports pack subscription, we don't have a service like Sky or anything like that. QUOTE (Danny @ Aug 25 2014, 10:34 PM) Genuine question: have you put any money in the club at all in the past 2 years? Be it a mug, a shirt, subscription, whatever. Yes, I have, I even once bought a genuine shirt with all the patches which cost me over a hundred euros, but right now, I honestly cannot stomach spending another cent into this club, because of this management, I'll still support the team and watch games but as far as supporting this management goes, I'm just done

When fans aren't happy with the team, they stop wanting to pay anything into the Club. If they're happy with the team, they're happy to pay. Yet...football support is surely unequivocal. If you support the club you can't pick and choose when you do and don't support it? It's like a family - you can't choose who your family are, and you suffer them in the bad times as well as enjoying the good times. Unfortunately, the modern football fan expects a certain standard, and if he or she deems it not having been met, they no longer support the club. Not sure I like the modern football supporter tbh. And that's not an attack at you Han, just a general observation on a mentality in general that I cannot identify with.

This is different, there's not a lack of standards, we don't have any, at all!! It's about complete lack of ambition, if the owner and CEO don't give a f@ck why should I be spending my money to enable them in continuing to do this to our club? We've become an utter laughing stock, even Cairo is making fun of us and Galliani calling him stingy. Even if there is no big money to be spent, I'd at least expect some clear plan or strategy that they're going by, but it's obvious that there isn't one, Galliani just operates by the seat of his pants, looking for free agents and want-aways or players who are troubled and not wanted by their clubs then goes on to offer them ridiculous wages that become a huge burden for us within a year of their signing. 5 days(!!) until this transfer window closes and we haven't made one signing worth any money aside from Rami, it just boggles the mind, Serie B clubs have probably spent more than us

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Aug 26 2014, 01:33 PM) Come on man, your hatred towards certain players is ridiculous. You've not seen Lestienne play much at all. I'd certainly prefer him over Biabiany. Are you seriously telling me you'd want Biabiany here?? He's nothing but speed, offers nothing else to the team. If you're going to ask me that question, I'll have to ask you what your obsession is with mediocre/average Serie A players?

So, one more time Han - who would you want here at Milan considering our limited budget?

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Aug 26 2014, 01:49 PM) So, one more time Han - who would you want here at Milan considering our limited budget? I think I've answered this question a 100 times If our options are nothing or waste money on bringing in some mediocre player that EVERYONE will be complaining about within a few months and will become a financial burden that will be happy to sit on our bench, then I'd rather have absolutely no one than bringing in someone just for the sake of bringing him in. Biabiany is absolutely god awful!! He makes me wish desperately for Cerci! That's how bad he is imo. There are options out there, Lestienne could come for nothing, he's got some pretty amazing stats and is young and talented, I'd rather take a chance on loaning him than bring in Biabiany, if he doesn't cut it, we just send him back. Simple as that
