QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 24 2012, 07:25 PM) According to MilanNews, Madrid have still to pay us €8 million from the famous €65 million they used to purchase Kaká in 2009. Our offer to Madrid is a free loan with obligation of purchase for about €8-10 million. Also, if Kaká was to come on a free loan, his wage on the club's balance sheet for the year 2012 would weigh for only six months, as opposed to free loans coming from within Italy. For example, Constant is entirely put in our balance sheet for the year 2012, (purchase fee + wage), whilst Kaká would only be put for his gross wage for the second half of 2012. LinkHope that made any sense. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Hmm wages are expenses, as are fees, hence they are recorded in the 'income statement' and not the 'balance sheet'. But if you are talking about accrued expenses then that is something else; in which case Constant and Kaka would not be paid and neither of their departing clubs. But I dont get how Kaka's wages would only be for 6 months while Constant would be for a year? you did outline above that its because Constant is incoming from Italy as opposed to Kaka ... But effectively they would have only served 6 months and hence earned 6 months pay ... Not sure ..

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Aug 24 2012, 11:38 PM) What kind of player is Niang really? How would he fit into our team? Wiki says he's a striker, but can also play as winger or attacking midfielder. Kind of like El Shaarawy. QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Aug 25 2012, 01:33 AM) Hmm wages are expenses, as are fees, hence they are recorded in the 'income statement' and not the 'balance sheet'. I'm not sure how this works in football, but I guess when you sign a player, his transfer fee + wage are recorded in the income statement of the club for that year, which is 2012 in this case. The article says that when you sign a player on loan from a foreign club, the transfer fee in the income statement is not recorded. Not sure why Kaka's wage would only be recorded for the second half of the year, though, as opposed to Constant's. I guess it's a written rule or something.

I'd be happy with Ricky under these circumstances, no matter what wage-system he enters (as long as it's a sane sum).

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Aug 25 2012, 10:36 AM) What has Preziosi got to do with anything here? do Genoa want to sign Kaka for us or something? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) It's just an endorsement from a friend.

So, Niang may choose Everton instead of Milan.
On other news, Ramirez will be leaving Bologna as it seems. Is he maybe the midfielder we need?
