Haha, once you cross the dark side, there's no return. That being said, never in my life did I watch at Milan a player (at Robinho's level) consistently missing chances after chances. 2 seasons is enough for me, and he gives me the feel that with more time passing he's getting even worse.

+1 to both statements. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Twice, at that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) He has behaved well, but Robinho's performances do have a terrifying downward trend now. Misses are one thing, he just hasn't been that good for us this season either.

Agreed. His first season was pretty good. I mean, if he had not missed all those chances, he'd have easily reached the 20 goals mark. I thought he'd perform even better in the next season, but that was not the case and he barely managed to score 10 goals in all competitions. Add to that very poor performances coupled with scarce continuity and you've got yourself served a horrible season. His only good, very good aspect is his immense work-rate, which I appreciate a lot.

I've always been a fan of buying domestically, any DMs people like from Serie A teams? Aside from unrealistic targets of course.

I personally have always liked Veloso. Who, even more importantly, belongs to Genoa. Thus making the move possible. I can't think of any other DMs in the league that really stand out though

Meh, he can go to hell. We don't need him.

I see where your coming from, but Im sure you noticed his workrate being very high. That, for me compensates a lot, seeing as Robinho has never had a profilic goal scoring season. Main reason Madrid sold him off in the first place.

All in all, I think if we need to sell players off, then Robinho should be the first to go considering how well off we are upfront.

15 to 20m for him would be something we can't refuse. It's a great deal for a player like Robinho who's mastly all flair no product.

If we can consider 40m for Thiago than I would walk Robinho to Spain on my back for 20m

Yes, but we can get a lot cheaper player (in terms of wages and the buying prize) who can deliver that one category. From a "star player" like Robinho one would expect more the "just" work-rate.

I'd ship off Robinho regardless of the price to be honest.

I would like for us to look at our youth now, starting with SES.

I don't think SES is ready atm to take the spot of someone who played most of our games last season. Yes there's Cassano and Pato ahead of him but with Pato being Pato you can never say when we just might find ourselves in a critical situation.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't give him the chance, I'm just a bit worried about the pressure that would put on him should we find ourselves in a situation where he's the only starting option

I would love it if he came back!

This is the only guys I wouldn't think twice about signing for another year. It would seriously take off a huge load off our management. They'd just need to get a DM and CM and call it a day

Emanuelson is the most logical solution at this point.

I like it how we talk about players we've never actually seen play in superlatives; last year it was "sign Ganso", then it became "sign Eriksen" (I also participated), now it is Strootman. Well, Ganso turned out to be then big next nothing, while Eriksen so far disappointing me (doesn't necessarily mean he ain't good). I think we should widen the DM search.

Tbh I can't say definitively the Robinho has to go. This was a pretty miserable season for everyone other than Ibra and Silva. Everyone else has either been poor, average or inconsistent.

Robinho thrives on his being happy and momentum. This season and our genius coach with his legendary tactical decisions gave him neither

Aye. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I don't think Ganso has turned out yet.

Somewhat agreed, but man you've got to remember there will be a cost of keeping Silva tied to Milan. A few sacrifices will have to be made and unless we plan to offload Ibra, Robinho is the most obvious choice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) With Cassano back to his best, the club will most probably promote El Sharaawy from the bench to take Robinho's place.

He can be happy and have lots of momentum (read: cash) at Malaga. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) The biggest fish in the pond.
