I don't know why Fillipo says Aquilani is painfully mediocre and [our] Max thinks he's below average. he's as much guilty of making sloppy passes as pretty much every one else in our team bar the CBs. at least he makes up for it by making a lot of assists. what do you guys expect from him, to play like Zidane or Xavi?

I don't know man, teams are teams. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) You can not create assists against smaller team, and bam! A team like Milan comes out with a draw or a loss. It's that fickle. I mean, sure bigger tests will come and he may not turn out to be a player who we can always count on, but Aquilani is not a bad player to have. By any means.
The only bad thing in all of this is if the B&G think that having a player of his calibre is enough to conquer the world. |

I just had a look over at Kurt's stat page. Well, I don't know what to say... It's as if I don't count his assist as "assists"!!! From what I have seen, they just looked like decent passes that were turned into goals. He doesn't dictate the play at all, he hurries the ball too much and gives it away with his long passes too many times. But I really had no idea about his assist stats. Not bad. But from what I see in-game, I'm disappointed with what I've witnessed.
