That picture did make me laugh though it's like a dad picking up his son, I know Crouch is tall but jeez Lennon you're small.

Well provided we make it through - It depends because it would be an entirely new draw to determine the fixtures.

One thing is for sure it won't be Spurs (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I think we can win this in spite of Allegri. Unfortunately that means we beat them on attack which is the mod thing we've rarely done this season. For the embarrassment of riches he has up front Al has underperformed imho. Yeah we are SORELY lacking in creativity in midfield but when Cass isn't playing the combinations at the top of the 16 yard box is really pathetic. This is Allegri's fault because inasmuch ar Pato''s passimg has regressed under him there's also the fact that he's clearly on a different page and has diametrically opposed ideas especially from iBra's. I expected a lot more work and grooming to be done on arguably our best talent. Pato's clearly frustrated and the refusal to speak to the press doesn't surprise me. However this move only hurts him because Allegri can now hide his own incompetence as he did with Ron by painting him as a troublemaker with a poor attitude. Berlu is inclined to believe him and the fact that he's "led" us to the top of the table gives him a strong leg to stand on. By the time his abject mediocrity becomes clear to management it may be too late.

Leave him alone.

You have to remember that Spurs haven't won much in their history. Winning an away game in Europe is as big as it gets for them.

Well let's see...

Tottenham Hotspur were the first British club to win a major European trophy.

Tottenham Hotspur were the first British club to win two major European trophies.

Tottenham Hotspur have won more major European trophies than any other English club, with the exception of Liverpool and Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur have won three times as many major European trophies as Aston Villa have.

But I do agree with the fact that winning at the San Siro was a fantastic achievement for us - a team who are currently fourth in the Premier League (hopefully third by tomorrow night) seeing off the runaway leaders of the Italian League.

BTW, that away win was our 27th in European competitions - we've won two more away games than we've lost.

And our home form in Europe reads 54 wins, 11 draws and just 3 defeats in 68 matches played so far.

I don't get it, why do we have to act like ***** and pompously laugh over clubs with 'less history.' I don't think it's either fair nor good. Fact is, we've lost at San Siro and this is a big thing, wether the club has won trophies in the past or not.

Tottenham has had many great football players, they've achieved less when we look at it from a Milan perspective but much more if we take a Chievo or Genoa perspective. Who are we to judge wether they are big or not?

Huh, we are AC Milan, the club with most international trophies in the world. To us, even the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United are small fry, let alone Tottenham. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

@Filippo, I understand your objections, and I'd normally agree, but:
1. The first thing this douche did was to post a video that wasn't excactly the epitome of sporting behaviour (although seeing as it came less than a week after his club's greatest ever moment, I don't blame him).
2. I have to deal with Spurs fans a LOT. And this one isn't even as annoying as the standard Spurs fan.

I think it's time we started acting a tad MORE arrogantly. That's how the elite view these rubbish clubs. They all EXPECT to brush them aside. Because we've gone through a mini dry spell we're respecting our opponents waaay too much. Allegri's small club overly defensive approach isn't helping either.

Its the arrogance in which Spurs (and Newcastle) fans proclaim things, most of which are made up or skewed anyway.

Overly defensive? Whooowa! Carletto was from times to times overly defensive, Allegri in those terms isn't even half of it...

I don't know, I really don't think arrogance is something positive or even desirable. In small dosis perhaps, but...look at Mourinho; he has everything, yet many people consider him to be a pr@ck.

I think greatness it to know where your place is and not show it all the time. Take Maldini.
