haha loving the sarcasm... even if we didn't get a result I would like to have seen a inzaghi-ibra switch and see how he played with pato's pace at CF and dinho playing the balls... coz inzaghi has way better movement, positioning and finishing ability than ibra... even at 37 years of age.

Zlatan is missing all his chances these weeks! Pato should play CF, of course he sucks if he's not the one playing as CF. When he is getting his chances, he will score like a maniac! (unlike Zlatan)

And Abbiati needs to be benched. End of discussion.

No and no. Sorry, but this is a bit to far. Pippo played the same position as Pato, yet he scored 2 goals. Is Pippo a winger? No, just like with Pato, he was forced to play something which isn't his usual position. But he scored.

At first I belived it's just the position that bothers Pato. But he's out of form, in a bad phase - he had 0 shots on goal, 0 shots wide, a few runs and passes and a few stupid tricks. It is very naive to say he'll score like a maniac after repeatedly failing to impress or show any sign of good form.

Zlatan, the guy who I really hate from the bottom of my heart, isn't the one to be blamed. He's a selfish ******* but he works his @ss out almost every match from minute one right to the end.

What irrated me about Pippo (not duking Pippo, but Allegri) was the fact that I was seeing Pippo wide!!! He was tripping over the ball trying to dribble it!!! It just reminded me of watching Hunter play out there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Allegri imo is just as tactically inept as Leo. The fact that we went out with a 4-3-3 against Real proves this to me more then anyting else. So he tries a 4-3-1-2 with Robinho but a 4-3-3 with Dinhoo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Just ridiculous on so many levels!!

I'm just talking about these last few seasons, where Pippo has been awful in the domesic league and then pulls off a performance like tonight in the CL.

Imo his record was also a big factor. You could see it in his eyes. He was literally about to combust waiting to come on from the touchline

Maybe, but I see the same in his eyes every time I see him on the bench. He just has great motivation and will to play and score. You see it in his celebration - which is at the same time always the same and also unique.

Not saying that he doesn't have motivation, but in the CL it's a different ball game altogether.

And that's exactly what's wrong!!!! Pato is getting 0 shots, our best finisher (BECAUSE HE IS!!!!!!), and Zlatan is getting the chances instead and MISSES THEM!!! Of course Pippo did well today, but you cannot expect him to this on a weekly basis as a starter.

Of course Zlatan is working his Arsch off, he has been our best forward this season, but just not the best finisher. Something tactical needs to be changed! Pato needs to play CF, and Zlatan around him or something like that.

That's the way we should have played tonight, but again it was the 4-3-3. Even when Pippo and Seedorf came on it was still that stupid 4-3-3. Allegri seems dead set on it. So until he gets his head out of his @ss we're basically stuck

Exactly. Just compare the work rate of Zlatan tonight to that of Dinho. True, he missed two good opportunities, he might be a selfish b@stard, but he fought like a lion and deserves some recognition. Without him, we'd be reduced to a mediocre team. The guy makes the difference.

Through that reasoning, Gattuso was, has been, and will likely always be our best player.

Funny how you always seem to direct it back to Dinho (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Dinho actually won a couple of balls today... No he didn't play well but he actually made things happen when it mattered. Zlatan fluffled his chances, and I'm sorry but a striker of his calibre shouldn't be getting one on one chances on a weekly basis and continually missing them. He missed 2 easy ones against Napoli, against Juve as well and against Real.

I wouldn't call him that selfish actually, he gave another great assist today this season FFS. Zlatan+Pato is gold, just a need for a tactical change to make it shine. And probably also a new AMC...

I wouldn't call today's an assist, it was a horrible cross.
He gives the ball away, doesn't move at the right moments and got caught offside way too much and when he did finally get through he was wasteful.
Yeh he ran around a bit, but it was mostly to cause a foul.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Gave a great assist??? He f**** that simple cross up!! Pippo only got anywhere near it because Casillas completely messed it up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I can't believe some of the bias on here. The way people close their eyes to most things one player does and a foot wrong by the other and he's cr@p, unwatchable and useless (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Ibra works his @ss off sure, but he's not delivering when it comes to goal, that's what he's here for not to work hard and foul defenders. Had that chance fallen to anyone else in the first half, that would have been 1-0 to us, no question about it.

Okay, my sight is not very clear at the moment, but his previous assists were awesome!

Zlatan needs to play a supporting role for Pato the CF/striker!

edit: I take that great assist thing back, soooooorrrrrrrrrryyyyyy, I am too frustrated to think clear all the time
