QUOTE (X-Offender @ Nov 2 2010, 03:46 PM) Just read Allegri's press conference. The guy has serious issues. He said we played one of our best games against Juventus, and created a lot of chances. Well, Mr. Allegri, I think the total opposite: we played a horrid match and we barely created 3-4 chances during the whole 90 minutes. What a douche. Naah, that's the kind of comment a Cagliari coach would make after a hard match against Juve. Really sad how slow the man adapts.

QUOTE (acid911 @ Nov 2 2010, 01:14 PM) Word. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Robinho provide depth, but do we really need it when there is a glaring hole in our midfield. I just hope we snapped up Hernanes. He'd been perfect. Think about how much better it would have been if we signed the much cheaper Hernanes over Robinho. But for some reason management said Honda being non-EU was a problem, so it should be also with Hernanes. So what does that mean? Has the spot been reserved all this time? Kaká in January? I don't know, it's annoying. If only we signed Hernanes over Robinho, then we would have had a backup for Pirlo and someone for Ronaldinho's spot. Would have made our (attacking) midfield so much better. Of course no Robinho should mean either Borriello staying or someone else in (that one can be lots of cheaper since we're talking about depth - more important is to have a good starting AMC than a good backup forward). How frustrated is it to see Hernanes go for 10 mio to Lazio while Milan has been following him for years, people have been drooling about him for years, he used to be very expensive, and now for 10 mio to Lazio? Seriously? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Guys, Robinho was signed for the intent of using him as a back-up for Dinho and Pato in our 3-men attack. But, since we've switched to a playing style that involves three midfielders and a trequartista, Robinho becomes less necessary, unless he's used as a trequartista himself.
This season, we have to arrange with what we have (which is not bad, actually), but next season, when many contracts will expire, we have to invest a good amount on a pure AMC, and resolve our playing style problem once and for all: 4-3-1-2!

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Nov 2 2010, 07:49 PM) But Hernanes was a relative unknown while Binho was well known and had done well in the world cup (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Relatively unknown compared to Robinho maybe...(which probably is why we signed Robinho)... Hernanes was a known player. QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Nov 2 2010, 07:50 PM) Why aren't you the coach? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I just await the usual excuses on thursday (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I can't make players better, that's important too. BTW, was it meant nice as in you agree with me?

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Nov 2 2010, 10:49 PM) But Hernanes was a relative unknown while Binho was well known and had done well in the world cup Yes, but I never thought too highly of Robinho, from the first time I saw him, up until now. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) He just not has that quality that separates really good players from great, the one that R99, Kaka, etc had in them. I just think Robin's got a really lucky (and $$$-filed) ride to Madrid and Manchester. So in essence, we kind of knew what Robinho is capable of, and while he is a good addition to the squad, he is not what we absolutely needed. B&G thought that we can splash a bit of a money on creating our on Fantastic 4 - well we need a working mid for them to play to their potential. This they probably forgot. Hernanes, now that is a player one could take a risk with. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And at perfect age too, not like those teenager or early twenty kids that jump out from Brazil, he actually has stayed there and learned his trade, and well is a darn good player too. So is Ganso I think, and while it still would be a gamble, I hope Milan takes that.

Hernanes, old enough to make us stronger short term, young enough to be a good long term signing, especially for what Lazio paid. About Ganso, shame he's having a serious injury, so he can't help us this season.
