QUOTE (Zed.D @ Oct 28 2010, 11:01 AM) Because saying Ronaldinho has always flopped in big games is plain false and childish and you know that. EDIT: if you didn't know that, you wouldn't contradict yourself in your next post, of course (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Maybe always isn't the right word, but often enough it happened against decent sides Ronaldinho got marked out, become useless, and Milan couldn't do anything because of it. Obviously there is disagreement here, but to call it ridiculous (han), childish (you) or whatever is close to pathetic. I believe there are good reasons to believe we would do better with Robinho than with Ronaldinho in big games (and currently Robinho is showing form - so let's stick with it). So guys, stop calling X-Offender a pure hater and make your opinions the truth because of it. Now that is ridiculous, childish and plain false. This is a good discussion except for the 'oh but you are a hater so I am right' part: X-Offender made valid points, though you don't have to agree with, at least respect them.

QUOTE (CHU-LIP @ Oct 28 2010, 08:41 AM) I guess I should feel offended because my point of view seems to be called ridiculous then also. How hard is it for you to respect the opinion someone prefers Robinho over Ronaldinho? It's not like Robinho is some regular noob in our squad, no he is the Brazil national team captain (and actually first team player there - guess who isn't?). It's obvious Ronaldinho and Robinho are different kind of players, it's obvious we play a different game with one than with the other. Ronaldinho has been preforming awful this season, I would love to see preforming him well for us, and I'm sure X-Offender does also, but he seems to do it not often enough, surely not against teams who are smart enough to mark him out and make him useless, and that is why Milan will preform awful then. It's not the hate, but it's the feeling we will do better with Robinho than with Ronaldinho, why people like X-Offender and me (and I know plenty others on different forums) prefer Robinho over Ronaldinho.
Anyway, let's all agree to disagree, and respect each other opinions. It's obvious you will stick with Ronaldinho just because he gots lots of creativity, even when he (and Milan) is/are not preforming. I didn't say our oppinion is ridiculous, because I tend to agree with you, because you're actually reasonable when it comes to Ronaldinho. I was talking about the little tag team routine you 2 pull out when it comes to this subject. Also just because Robinho is part of the Brazil team while Dinho is not, doesn't mean sh!t, that's why Brazil lit up the world in the WC right? Thanks to Robinho...

But isn't that exactly what he's saying? He said that Dinho never performs in the big games. And this theory only came out after the Real game. Which is ridiculous in itself already. Also when we pointed out all the games that Dinho did perform in last season he disregarded them as being against cr@p teams Juve were cr@p, Roma were cr@p, etc, etc. And x-off himself has said on more then one occasion that he abolutely does not like Dinho, so why should I take his oppinion on the issue as something other then just trying to put someone he doesn't like down?

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Oct 28 2010, 11:36 AM) LOL what are you taking about?!
I just said saying Dinho has always flopped in big games is childish. that's it. where did I say anything further to make it sound like my opinion is the correct one?
I didn't even participate in the argument so please don't put words in my mouth. I'm sorry, that part was referred to Han. And maybe that is not true also, but sometimes it sounds that way, and that's annoying. That about Brazil NT was not meant as a valid argument, so I could have better not said that. And good to read you see good things in my posts referred to Ronaldinho. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Anyway, I feel like we have discussed this enough - at least for now (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) and sorry if one of my latest posts were a bit sharp, I got annoyed by some word choices used towards X-Offender's posts since I actually agreed with them.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Oct 28 2010, 01:27 AM) Oh, so han and Zed telling me to stop acting like a child and laughing over my valid points is fine then. But hey, I don't complain like you do. No, you just agressively silence anyone who's not in your way. But hey, let's stop complaining.

About the Dinho-Robinho Debate: Dinho has proved that he can still play behind attackers:Being Pato and Ibra which form a deadly duo in my book, and this is the sort of attack we need. Two striker with an attack midfeild.
Robinho is a quality player but he's not the type of player to set plays and feed the attackers with passes.I see him as a striker, and he's good in that position, that's why he should be Pato's replacement or even vice versa, and Inzaghi Ibra's replacment.
The thing with Dinho is that he needs to be fed the ball all of the time so he can get his charm going,so we have to keep possesion, and imo that's why he mostly failed in the Madrid game(playing seedorf instead of Boateng). The best thing is to have a midfeild formed of Ambro/Gattuso-Pirlo-Boateng,and Dinho being the attack midfeild.
I think when the midfeild problem is solved,Dinho will show better play.Other then the Madrid game,he show lot's of skill, and good dribbling with assists showing his great vision that we need so much.

Or vice versa? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Why Inzaghi as Ibra's replacement? Inzaghi is a goalscoring player like Pato is. Anyway, I would say Robinho as 1st backup for both Pato and Ibrahimovic makes more sense to me than Pippo. Though, Robinho should be a starter himself behind the two. QUOTE (X-Offender @ Oct 28 2010, 03:29 PM) I'd rather play a fast paced game with short passes and lots of movement than your typical "give the ball to Dinho and hope he'll invent something", which will bring us nowhere. +1
