Dzeko is not coming to Milan unless Milan put in a bid Wolfsburg accept. There's no pre-contract, no agreement.

I said it had a very good chance of being completed. @mike: We have an agreement with wolfsburg that goes along these lines. That is his release clause that he has built in his contract. If however, wolfsburg qualify or we decide to buy him next summer, that deal is still in existence. Thats is why I personally believe he is one of the reasons why B&G didn't spend more than 15m on any transfers. He was our main target this summer and we did fight for him until about August. When we couldn't get him we had that deal made with wolfsburg. So we are still going to go for him, which i believe strongly. Lets not forget too that Dzeko wants to come here and he will one way or another. Whether that is in January, next summer or in a few years. But I believe he'll come in Jan. It's common knowledge that he had that release clause put in so it won't be a exclusive thing just for us..after all 2 or 3 EPL clubs looked at him so who's to say thay won't buy him..or is this another smokescreen scenario you love so much |

Did you decide the basis of the bet? Is it if he comes within the next 2 transfer windows or if he ever comes to Milan period?
Because I wouldn't put it past Fester to snatch him up when he's 32 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |
