It's odd, the Dzemaili thing, because Palermo were said to have been interested in him.

That said, he was one of Toro's better players last year (along with Abate). Still not convinced about this one being entirely accurate though.

Well, Protagonist, today's gossip indicates the following:

*Kalac on the way out, possibly to Parma
*Flavio Roma IN, from Monaco (though why we need another 30+ year old keeper is beyond Fishdoll's poor brain)
*Possibly a deal with Toro for Dzemaili (Zigoni + $$$)
*No new LB/RB unless and until Oddo is sold.

Just how accurate it is? Hard to say right now but there does seem general agreement about Flavio Roma coming in.

Oh, btw, various Italian sources (tuttomercatoweb, mediaset, etc) are linking us with Fiorentina's Vargas. Not sure of that one either.

I just looked on Toro's equivalent to milannews and there's nothing about Milan's interest in Dzemaili but apparently Udinese are interested in him.

EDIT: blue, Fishdoll says he'll only accept the nomination if he gets harem girls, all of Jack's rum, and a stick to hit the Milan transfer guys with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

While Wesley Sneijder is away on international duty, negotiations between Real Madrid and Inter have continued in his absence. The player's agent claimed last night that the Nerazzurri were struggling to meet Real's valuation, but the Italian media is suggesting that this may not be the case.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are only small details separating the two clubs from a loan agreement. Although Real supremo Florentino Perez is eager to sell the Dutchman outright, his club would be paid €7 million for a year-long loan, which would possess an option for Inter to make the move permanent for a further €13m.

The news comes as a blow to Aston Villa, who were hoping that Inter would be priced out of a transfer, thereby opening the door for the 25-year-old to move to the Premier League.

Any transfer would be welcome for Sneijder, who is unlikely to feature regularly with los Merengues after their heavy investment this summer. As a result, he has been warned by coach Bert van Marwijk that his place in the Netherlands team is under threat.

If Sneijder's transfer to Inter doesn't materialise, the Nerazzurri will turn to one of Rafael van der Vaart, Pablo Aimar, Yoann Gourcuff or Ivan Rakitic as an alternative.
