QUOTE What is wrong with these people? can't they just bring a proper coach instead of a rookie? are they trying to emulate Barca or what? this plan could fail miserably. Exactly. But, I'd say Leonardo, in contrary to MvB, would/could also bring some positive aspects - - We have a large brazilian continguent, larger then any we had in the past (french, dutch,...); a respectable brazilian coach therefore, like it or not, is a reasonable if not logical solution. As there are limited brazilian coaches able to manage big european clubs. Meaning Leonardo, both familiar to Milan and respected in Brazil has space to jump in. Still, such a deal stays a risk. Milan traditionally had success with Italian coaches, and I allways hoped that at least that part will stay that way, but...

I agree, don't get me wrong I like the guy very much. but this is not what he should be doing now. he hasn't coached a team for a single game. it's highly risky. I wouldn't have a problem if he were to be an assistant (for Rijkaard or Mvb) but head coach...?

QUOTE (KakaIlCapitano @ May 24 2009, 01:08 PM) Yoan said that he want to stay in Bordeaux because of Blanc, that his view is the same like Yoan's , but he doesn't know that Carlo is leavinh and that with Leonardo the things will change, both of them deserves a chance and i think that this is what milan need, a shock , something fresh guided by Tasotti and Leonardo and i think this is awesome! Forza Leonardo and forza Yoan, come and shine in Milan! Sorry, but he'd be an idiot to go from being hot stuff in France to God-knows-what over here. A new coach won't change that.

QUOTE (il_diavolo_mtl @ May 25 2009, 04:36 PM) Why must we chose i say we let Rijkaard coach with Leonardo as a assistant, he has to learn somehow, he will be around for the players and get some valuable experience which will come in handy when he becomes our long term coach (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If Rijkaard becomes coach he'll need an expierenced tactician as an assistant. In Barcelona he had an experienced staff around him, and so does Guardiola if I'm not mistaking. Rijkaard is still young as a coach, and let's face it, he's no Capello or Sacchi. Leonardo with some experienced brains around him, might actually work out. First of all, he's a smart guy. Second he commands alot of respect in Milan, especially from the players. He's also a sympathetic person, and it helps to give us a facelift after Calciopoli and these latest things with Maldini. We have no idea if he's got the talent for coaching though, but I imagine the management would, and he himself would, as previously stated he's expremely intelligent.
