QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jan 17 2009, 01:16 AM)

Why is it disgracefull to accept an multi-million offer? I don't see any problem.
It is disgraceful to kick out a player for some stupid $100 bills. Why aren't United (Christiano), Barca (Messi), Juventus (Buffon), and other big clubs doing the same? (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) If they were money whores like us, they'd certainly have put their players up in the market. And to think Buffon even got a 50m plus offer from City. Which he rejected, by the way. And he's well over 30 years of age. City has it in them to spend billions to create a winning squad. And they are willing to, seeing as to these arab (Khaleeji, in fact) sheiks, everything is one big business. So why aren't other clubs letting go of their prized possessions. Where's the fight in Milan? We've got a decent squad, we don't need money, we can win the CL again next season and get some funds, in fact we won it a couple of years back and got more than enough $$$. It's not like Milan wants to buy a trio of Benzama, Torres, and Ramos all at once. We're more interested in free meals and leftovers, but that's for another day.
Point is, if Kaka wants to leave and the management obliges, then that's a whole different perspective. The guy came out and said he didn't want to leave, even the title of the thread is that Kaka rejects, the least management can do is take the player in confidence and and then decide on things. In fact, it's almost like say you're having a get together party, and one of your friend gets up suddenly and rudely/unnecessarily asks your first cousin to get out and leave. The worst part is you keep standing there, doing nothing, zilch. If I were your cousin, then I'd have a very hard time staying and/or coming back to you. That's what Kaka feels right now. I've never been a die hard fan of the guy, but I'll take his words over 2,000 lying snobs, be it Galliani or Carlo, or Berlusconi.
If he absolutely wants to leave, and Milan is getting the money (they should try to keep him first, still), has one-two years on his contract, is over 30, and has given everything to the club, then by all means. I too won't see any problem. (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I still don't know the true story, but from the look of things Kaka doesn't want to go, he's being pushed, made to walk the plank. Not welcome thingy I wrote above. But the part that management isn't communicating with him, it's beyond disgraceful. It's pitiful. Stinking low. Like I said, we're behaving like we haven't seen 100m before in one place. They should have said no. Point blank. And then if Kaka wants to go, it's his call. It's like Milan selling Paolo (against his wishes) at the age of 30, if they got a good offer from Chelsea. Still too early to call the suspects. We shall wait and see! Stay calm.

Therein lies the problem.
Kaka blatantly does not want to leave Milan(despite what some think), yet Milan are doing their best to sell him against his wishes. This whole saga stinks and hopefully this will open peoples eyes who believe the management can do no wrong!
This is the sort of thing I expect from madrid not Milan.
I wish the management would sell Milan to someone who actually had the clubs best interests at heart.
Excellent post. (IMG:

Everything. (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Spare some time and read it all. This is one classic thread. Never thought a news story would ever go to 150 replies. Now, I've seen everything.

Lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth, hanna. Still nothing official and no official word about who/what/why/how much.
Exactly. And it's the management's domain to come out with official statements. (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Even if they are vague, and don't want to spill everything to the media. Which they have, unintentionally.

I Ross, did you see the report that it's kaka's FATHER who is pushing for the deal?
It was just that: A report. (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I don't give a hoot what his father says. The only three parties that matter are Milan, Kaka and City. Agents are always after their %.
