Seedorf unsure over Kaka move
Milan team-mate warns City over Kaka deal Clarence Seedorf admits he would be "surprised" if AC Milan team-mate Kaka moved to Manchester City during the current transfer window, insisting the vast sums of money involved would not change the life of the Brazilian. The proposed move gathered pace on Thursday night after Milan's official television channel reported that the Italian giants are considering a bid from City believed to be in the region of €120million (£107million. The 26-year-old midfielder would reportedly earn a staggering £500,000 a week were a deal to be struck, but Seedorf believes money would not be a motivating factor behind any move "These are Hollywood figures, it is clear that City is sending a message to the world; they want to become one of the big clubs in the world," Seedorf told Sky Sports News. "It would surprise me if he leaves this month, but on the other hand, I don't know what the personal motivations would be. "[The money] is not what he needs, he has a big contract already. It is astronomical for AC Milan, but it's not going to be a life-changer for him. "If he decides to change, it will be for a long-term project that he can be a major part of." Decision Seedorf added that both Kaka and Milan need to bide their time before making a decision over City's approach. "This an offer that has to be thought of," added Seedorf. "He is an important asset. He is a young player but has already been six, seven years at the club. "It is a decision only he can make with his family. It is not something to think easily about. He has to consider the pros and cons - not with the heart but also with the mind. "Kaka is a player that has done so much for the club. If you look at it like that, this would still be doing something for the club - bringing in a lot of money." |

They are both Milan legends but that does not mean their opinion is de facto a correct one.
Personally I feel that if this deal goes through it will make Milan as pragmatic as Juve and as cold as Madrid. Being different in this aspect is what has made me love this club, I hope they won't end it just like that... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) |

Guys understand this is like us selling maldini. Are you guys okay with that? He's our flag bearer. When people look or think of milan they dotn think of maldini seedorf pirlo or anyone else, the first person who comes to mind is RICARDO IZECSON DOS SANTOS LEITE= KAKA!!!
Some of you guys are okay with just saying kaka is fine to go its not gonna cost us, which i dont understand. We might as well let go of maldini too eh, money is more important than anything. |

Actually, blue, when I think of Milan, I think of (in order) Van Basten, Baresi and the other Invincibles including Maldini, and Sacchi. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I don't consider Kaka at that level yet. An important player? Yep. Best player on the team? Yep. Insane to let him go unless he's pushing for it? You got it.
And the latest is that it's Kaka's father pushing for the transfer, not the club. |
