Hah. See, we've got a philosophical difference here, acid. I'd never cheer for the zebras in Serie A. But in Europe? Long as they're not playing Milan, sure. Sins of the Moggi era notwithstanding, Juve ARE a team with an Italian core and I appreciate that. Plus, well, the longer they're paying attention to and involved in the CL, the more they need to split attention between that and Serie A. For me, Real (sorry, zd!) is part of the axis of footballing evil, along with Chelsea (sorry Misha) and the cugini.

Hrm. So no EPL team took full points this matchday and...gosh, no Spanish team took full points either. That's a bit of a surprise.

So...I was peeking in at another Milan forum. On this forum there are 3 England-based fans who primarily support Villa, Liverpool, and Manchester United. The United and Villa guys are generally pretty reasonable. Well, starting yesterday after the Liverpool game, the general consensus on this other board was that Gerrard dived to get the penalty and that he is a (to use a vaguely naughty British term) wanker. The liverpool fan took exception to this and proceeded to insult everyone and everything that disagreed. It was really quite amusing to watch the Villa and MU fans gang up on him. QUOTE (MizNelson @ Nov 6 2008, 12:56 AM) Jesus, if there's any group of fans who would be permanent nominees for the Darwin Award, it's none other than Celtic. Let's see the club weasel their way out of this one. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) CELTIC COULD FACE UEFA FINE AFTER FAN RUNS ON TO FIELD [url="http://www.tsn.ca/soccer/story/?id=254890&lid=sublink03&lpos=topRelated_soccer"]http://www.tsn.ca/soccer/story/?id=254890&...pRelated_soccer ( TSN Canada)[/b] yep and on a side note i'll be voting price in for the all-star game.

Fishdoll note: Axis of footballing evil membership notwithstanding, a cookie to the Real fans. They gave Del Piero a standing ovation last night when he was subbed off. That was a nice gesture.
