Fillipo, Seedorf pulled out of the Dutch squad, MvB didn't leave him out. What I don't understand is why didn't pull out for the qualifiers too? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Thanx...

Bert Van Marwijk? That's also new to me. Seems like I've been away for quite some time...Bert isn't something special, but certainly better then Van Basten. As for Seedorf..hmh, this article is just in "hype mode". Seedorf's right not to take part if he feels there's something negative between him and the coach. But he has a big ego, that's true.

given seedorfs recent comments about how he doesn't think he'll be pushed out of the side by ronaldinho and sheva and plans on scoring ten goals..i just had this image of him upstaging ancelotti again when he is substituted at some point this season..i shouldn't worry too much given his great pre-season form, but i hope clarence has a good season..knowing him, he won't be a happy camper if things don't go his way..

^^

Not necessarily, I mean Seedorf is a proud guy and what he has accomplished in his career, regardless of what one's personal opinion of him, he has won the CL 4 times in his career and in all those 4 times he was a key player.

I would say, considering the impact of Ronaldinho & Shevchenko in the team right now, I'd say Seedorf is working twice as hard, and it might really be a very good season for him .. Inevitably that would be great for us fans too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Quick question.

As I am fully for Milan I want to know what people see in Seedorf I know he must be special as he has won the Champions League with three different clubs which is some feat but could somebody tell me what makes him such a good player as when I see him as much as I try to like him I think he's merely ordinary.

Sorry to those who idolise him and I hope I haven't offended anyone but I just want to know what people see in him.

Excellent question, Chris. And nice video, Kenny. Seedorf is the most complete (offensive) midfield in Europe. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) On his best days, no one touches him. But the problem comes when he's not having his best days, which are quite often, he only steps up against big times. So that levels him up.

Plus, he's lazy and egotistic. So that doesn't help. But I fail to see anyone like him in World Football at the moment.

True..He has skills, can score from anywhere..Sometimes he unpredictable..He's very important for this team..About the Egotisticness? The first time i realised that was when he was substituted for pato in the fiorentina game in which pato scored the winner...he had such a angry and egocentric face..(like why did u substitute me)...But he'll learn to know that its for the team..I don't think that he'll act like dat this season...But our offense should be really great this season; so as our midfield, defense, and Keeper..Milan is a team of harmony..Now our game starts tomorrow and we'll need every1 we can have available and hopefully we'll win

Seedorf is a genius and a big match player imo. He's intelligent, has an immense shot and a great passer of the ball.

His problems are the fact that he only shows up for the games that he wants to show up for, other then that if he decides he doesn't give a **** about the game he's going to walk around all game long and do nothing other then spray around some bad passes.
