QUOTE (Darunia @ Mar 30 2008, 06:50 PM)
Why would Mourinho come to this OLD team with only 1 young talent (Pato)!!!!

He would definitely choose Inter or Barca or Madrid over Milan.  Plus no CL football!...

sigh my guess is Rikjaard coming to Milan, Mourinho to Barca.. and Milan playing in Uefa Cup (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
*

Ohhh,... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

A. We don't need Mourinho
B. So Paloschi isn't a young talent as well?
C. Milan will play CL if we manage to concentrate and the others resume their downfall (Fiorentina)
D. IMO Rijkaard to Milan could happen, but a second try with Holland could be more realistic

Btw. why isn't anyone making comments on Carlo's words? He did surprise some of us here who expected the usual talk, didn't he?

^^^^

Not me really....

Carlo is like Nova (nope don't preen your chest...Greekie..not yet)...he'll defend his players provided they tried hard and fought and lost in the end.

He did it against Arsenal for instance. Coz he knew it wasn't coz his players didn't want to...they had nothing in the tank.

But today was different. He said so himself. The players made the same mistake again. It was not that we were outclassed in those goals. It's just that we lost concentration or whatever. Something that had already happened once. When it happened the first time, he made 'excuses' and said, we'll try and sort it out. Now that it's happening again...he's pissed naturally.

He expects a better attitude from his players. They're professionals, they shouldn't be like this. And how can you say fatigue, when you've been off a week long break.

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Mar 30 2008, 03:34 PM)
Our performances have been so convincing, we are making Pato play better and better with more determination every game... This is the team to learn from.

Frist lesson is from:

Seedorf: You stop a high ball gently with the cushion of your @ss and then you proceed with caution and slow movement until you are surrounded by 6 players. This is where you slowly look around and pass it back to Oddo. You ALWAYS pass it back to Oddo, the slowly looking around thing is just an uber trick Seedorf came up with  to add a little drama to his play. Oddo will take it from here.

Oddo: OK, now you go deep and wait for his cross... Don't worry, it only takes him 18739717419874 times to get it right... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/freak.gif)

Now when it comes to motivation, Pato needs to look no further than Pirlo. OK, granted a cabbage has more motivation than Pirlo, but you will find it if you look hard enough.

For courage, you got a roll model in Dida, cheering you on and getting injured all at the same from the bench. His fighting spirit and masculine energy is just too much for the pitch.

For fitness, you've got your ideal man in Ronaldo. Name an injury and he has suffered through it. I even heard he got a strain in or around his @sshole for farting once... You be the judge... Now you ask me, why is he the ideal fitness model? Well, he is not... He can tell you 999 ways NOT to get injured though...

Then for technique you got your main man Brocchi... From fabulous elastico's to his trademark little midget stepovers, Brocchi is your to go guy.

More helpful lessons for our new boy Pato in the coming weeks. Stay tuned and enjoy your slow deaths everyone. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

it's true tho all this talk about how we need those older players to pass on this experience to the younger players. if anything they're teaching them how to be lazy and arrogant and the result is the next crop of young players couldnt care less about serie a.

Post match mind the language that the best google can do

ALEXANDRE PATO:

"Unfortunately we do not have disputed a great game, we both wrong and we lost. They were able to be more concrete than us."

AMBROSINI:

"With regard to the direction arbitration believe after all what happened in the past, the arbitrators tend not to see suffer a certain psychological subjection with large teams and large stadiums seeking to be seen little housework. However arbitration This management must not become an excuse for our performance. Certainly there are many things that we can talk about our performance, but the first thing we can do is ask for an individual examination.
The only positive note of this day is that the position of ranking fourth down we have not lost points. Now we have seven games to play with the right spirit trying to find a game that unfortunately in San Siro we did see. I think it is a mental issue to be tackled together, we should increase attention, but in football sometimes are incidents that determine the game. "
ODDO:

"We have to assume our responsibility, we played badly and we deserved to lose. Our performance was bad, it had no aggression, there was little desire to win. From an arbitral there were oversights of outstanding, as said Dr. Galliani the provision of arbitrators was in line with that of Milan. personally on the first goal I felt pull down, we can be that the arbitrator has not seen, but I believe that with the collaboration of guardalinee could report the fault. Certainly the climate that welcomes us to San Siro is not the best in the Italian league so, not as is the case in England that if you lose and you are already downgraded the audience applauded equally, as we know. How welcome the joys of our audience in times of victory and celebration, we accept the whistles, but perhaps if arrived at the end of the first half or the end of the game would be better. The only way out from this situation is to work so much.

Carlo suprised me really today...It was the first time he said that we need to buy new players...

QUOTE
Now we have to make changes,” slammed Ancelotti. “We cannot carry on like this. We hope to have Kaka back for the next game, but at the moment we are not defending well and not attacking well either.

“Something will change, but I am not so much talking about the players as the attitude. We’ll see what happens on Saturday.”

IMO he doesn't really know what to change, because he wants to see what's happening on saturday...so he'll change nothing for the game against cagliari...
we really ought to win that one!!

QUOTE (Tennie @ Mar 30 2008, 05:50 PM)
re Gourcuff: I don't think it's a personal issue between Ancelotti and the player. I just don't think Gourcuff is as good as you guys think he is. It also wouldn't surprise me one little bit if he's got an attitude problem. Personal opinion and I know that many are likely to disagree.
*

I did not comment on Gourcuff's quality. I'm just asking you a simple question and I'd like to have a simple answer: Do you think Brocchi and Emerson are better than Gourcuff? Yes, No, I don't know, just tell what you think.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Mar 30 2008, 07:28 PM)
UEFA cup = less ambitions = less quality players
*

When you're on a downfall, you have to go down to come up again... UEFA Cup would surely change some thing at Via Turati... CL I'm not quite sure!
