As you know I like Gila but I don't think this is a fair comparison. Ibra's importance cannot only be measured in goals, he truly takes Inter a whole level up.

And I agree, but everyone here bases his oppinion on the numbers and the numbers don't lie. If we say that Gila is also there to hold up the ball in the xmas tree formation everyone says that he is there to score not to hold up the ball or try to drag defenders away to leave more space for Kaka and Seedorf, no one looks at the other work he does on the pitch.

Carlo just doesn't want Yoann playing, he's chosen Brocchi over him time and time again, I think that's an enough indication of Carlo's intentions with Yoann.

I think it would be better for him to leave in the summer, and it hurts me to say this because given the right enviroment to grow in Yoann would become a great player, but sadly he's never going to be given the chance at Milan so what's the point in him wasting away on the bench when he has so much more to offer then that?

I agree that Gourcuff has a lot of potential. He's a talented kid though I think he overcomplicates things for himself - instead of doing the simple but effective thing with the ball, he too often tries to be creative.

Thing is, though, for whatever reason - and I'm not blaming anyone - he just doesn't 'fit' at Milan. In cases such as this, it's better for both sides to just go on. I imagine Milan will sell him in June.

EDIT: Seedorf's not over his ankle injury, dst. I'd rather have him fully healthy for the San Siro leg of the Gooner tie than playing against Palermo.

I think he would be great for a team like Fiorentina... I think he feels the pressure in Milan and that limits him. That's why he impresses in friendlies and training. Although, I have to say I think this is Carletto's shortcoming as he had a chance to integrate him into the first team last year when Yoaan was fresh and was very impressive. Especially after his CL debut, he should have gotten many more chances to play to develop his confidence and feel important in the team. Every player is different and it takes a different approach to help them grow. Pato and Kaka are players that have too much conviction in their own abilities and don't care too much what others think about them. These kind of players usually don't give into 'pressure' because their view of reality is different. Gila and Gourcuff type players need assurance. So you could say that's why sometimes moving to a big club for these kind of players can have a negative impact on their growth and careers.

In cases such as this, it's better for both sides to just go on. I imagine Milan will sell him in June.

I had high hopes for Yoann when he joined us, but not anymore. he won't get to be a regular starter in this team... I hope Wenger signs him for Arsenal. if he could make Senderos a 'good' defender [he was disastrous at the beginning imo], he can make Yoann the next midfield maestro or something. the boy surely has potential but needs be worked on. who better than Wnger?

He only always goes for the complicated option because he isn't experianced enough, he's been with us for nearly 2 seasons and if Carlo had given him enough chances during that time then he would have learned that going for the uncomplicated option would be the better idea.

I just think that if he was given enough games he would have adjusted to the team by now, but he barely plays more then 10 minutes every two weeks, how could we expect him to come on in unsignificant Coppa matches when he usually hasn't played more then a combined 20 minutes in the month leading up to the game and perform like the next 'Zidane' in this situation, not to mention playing with the reserves surely doesn't help.

If he would have gotten enough games last season against the smaller team, he would have integrated with the squad much better, now the more time passes the harder it will get for him
