I don't know how I feel about Emerson having Billy's jersey. Somehow it just doesn't seem...appropriate.

I didn't even know we had actually signed him...

Can't say that I'm ecstatic (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE
I ONLY THINK ABOUT MILAN

At Madrid I had arrived at a point where I even thought about quitting. I couldn’t take it anymore. Having the possibility of coming to Milan was the best thing that could happen to me: all of Emerson’s phrases.

MILANELLO – At the press conference of the official presentation of Emerson, the first words were of Ariedo Braida: “He arrived here seven years late. Already in 2000 we were very close, but he had already a commitment with another club. Carlo Ancelotti had asked us for a midfielder and he was the first one in the list”

The first words of Emerson: “Last year for me it was very difficult. In the last four months I tried to do everything to prove what I was capable of doing and in the end we succeeded with Real to win La Liga. Now I’ll think just about Milan. In Italy it will be easier for me, here there’s a different mentality, another environment.

“I hope to help my team-mates, and I’m available for the Coach. I played in some teams amongst the most important ones in the world, but after two-three days here I saw impressive things, I must really compliment Milan. Here I reall feel well, I already feel more free from my mind than I was at Madrid. At Madrid I had arrived to the point where six-seven months ago I wanted to quit, I didn’t want to play anymore. I couldn’t take it anymore.”

Now that you mentioned that,...

Saw him play against Sevilla. I'd wonder what was wrong about him and then I remended myself to whom the No. 5 jersey belongs.

Well,...we have the No. 6 off, No. 3 is reserved only for the celestial department, so I guess soon we will be out of the defender numbers.

Yeah, you can't just retire every number, you'd have none left after a few years!

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Well think about it...

Retire number 13 for Nesta, retire number 9 for Pippo ((IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) yeah right, the didn't do it for MVB), retire number 2 for Cafu, retire number 22 for Kaka and so on...

Well, the 9 isn't simply a number to retire. Don't know any team (big) that retired that number. 13 maybe, I would, but I doubt it will happen. Also the 2. But my real options for retirement are 21 and 22 (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) .
