14m is too much for Suazo in my opinion, but as long as it doesn't hamper the rest of our transfer campaign, I don't mind.

I agree with the price-tag being too much. I really don't think he's worth it at all. He will certainly not solve our goalscoring problem. Maybe he'll prove me wrong and shove this all back in my face? I really hope he does.

100& Agreed. 14 M for that guy is....a joke. We could have gotten a lot of better players for that money. He's good but he just doesn't improve our squad IMO. Pippo and Ronaldo are way better than him, even in their age. it's good that way also, you never know how would eto'o play in italy, while suazo has proven himself over the years...

IMO...good players play good football everywhere (sometimes they need some time but...)

As long as he's better than Oliviera I suppose it's a plus. R9 is clearly our number 1 guy, and who knows maybe real competition both in the league and in Europe will push Gila to be a better player?

I just hope you and I are wrong about him and he replicates his 05/06 season with us. Hopefully it doesn't mean we're giving up interest in R10/Henry/Eto'o.

Well of course I hope we're wrong, but I don't have a good feeling about this. Gila had to prove a lot more because he joined us...and well we all know what happened...
Hope Galliani didn't just buy him to piss Moratti off...
