wiki: Andranik Teymourian is an Iranian football player currently playing for Bolton Wanderers in the FA Premier League and the Iran national football team. He usually plays as a defensive midfielder, but can also play as a winger. He is one of my favorites at the moment. Very consistent and very talented. He has a good eye for goal too. And there was this one other player who plays for Steaua with a kind of similar style as C. Ronaldo. I forgot his name, but he really caught my eye in the CL group stage games. But other than Mahdavikia and the legend that was Daei, all other Iranian players are not even close. Maybe Nekounam who plays for Osasuna in the Liga. Here's the thing, if Teymourian was to join Milan, he would be a great signing. I couldn't say the same about other Iranian players. He was the Asian player of the year and being dubbed is the 'Asian Maradona' a couple years ago. Probably one of the most talented players out there. But what is the problem you ask? He hates playing football. He only plays for the money. And these are his own words... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) While still playing in Iran, before he went to Al Ahli, he had offers from Atletico and Arsenal, but he refused because Al Ahli was offering more money. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Then he joined Bayern because he got bored with Arab football. Now he is bored from German football. What a waste of talent. I hate him. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) This post has been edited by pKillerMax: Jun 1 2007, 08:49 AM |
