Winning this would not only help us get close the gap to either one of Roma or Fiorentina (or even both), it will help us open an even wider gap between us and Sassuolo so another must win

It's not going to be easy considering our recent record against this team, but we won the reverse fixture when we were playing a lot worse than we are now so I have hope that we can do the job here, if nothing else grind out the win to take all 3 points home

Were we supposed to win today? I didnt see the game, however take comfort in knowing that we locked horns with Serie A's best and came out impressing. A defeat here and there was always expected. We smashed inter and tied with Napoli, but humbled by Sassuolo. Life's funny like that:)

More like we're inconsistent like that...

This is not just an isolated incedent that you can simply brush aside, this has been a constant theme throughout our season. The amount of points we lost in games where we absolutely should have gotten the 3 points without too much trouble is simply not acceptable.

I'm not saying Sassuolo are walk-overs and we should have easily trashed them, because we have had our troubles with them in the past, but we have also lost/drawn games against easier sides than Sassuolo as well this season.

The fact that we seemed to have given up after conceding that first goal is testament to the real issue with the team. And I honestly don't know what can be done to change this, the players technically are good enough to win against the majority of the teams in this league but they are also mentally weak imo and this has been the case for a while now.

As for the Balo issue, I disagree about blaming him for anything, he was just as much a ghost out there as Bacca was and this was down to the entire midfield, and not just one man either (Kucka)
