As people might have seen, we've been besieged by bots in the last couple of weeks.

For the time being, we moderators are going to attempt to stem the flood by temporarily suspending posting privileges of new boardmembers suspected of being bots.

If you're a real new boardmember not interested in spamming the board, don't worry. We can reinstate posting privileges for you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Again, like I said in the 'Random Stuff' Thread in off-topic.

We know there is a slight problem at the moment with the amount of bots posting threads, particularly in off-topic.

Let me just emphasise the point on not clicking the links though, some may be purely advertising products however I have known these sorts of links also give people a ton of problems on their computers, with viruses, trojans etc.

Just report the thread and one of us will have it removed in a few hours, hopefully sooner if we are about.
