I really didn't see it as a clear cut 4-3-3. Robinho was not an AM, but whether it was him, Cassano or Ibra, one of them was always more retreated then the other 2 and stayed close to the midfield.

Yes, my thought exactly. One or even two of them came back helping the midfield.

It's not clear 4-3-3 no. Robinho, Ibrahimovic and Cassano are really a nice front trio. All are forwards but more than just that, can all change places with eachother. Really nice attack, team... really no place for Pato if all are fit.

First of all, I don't think you're getting what's han saying. Your post does not make any sense - han was telling you it wasn't a clear 4-3-3, you agree but then speak of them just attacking.

And secondly, Pato will always have a spot open. It's astonishing to me how one match makes us think the world is rosy again and we're, in Galliani's favorite words, that we are fine as we are. This clearly is a match we didn't need his finishing skills or speed, but in plenty other occasions both Pato and Pippo could/should be more then just helpful.
