Why is Milan called (in other languages besides italian/english) "AC (Milano*)"
*Name of the city - Milano - but in the language we're talking. For example, in Portugal I would say 75% of the newspapers call AC Milan, but the others call "AC Milão" (Milão = Milano in portuguese). In German, once I saw in DSF, AC Mailand or something like this... I must say I hate this. It's MILAN! If it wasn't the club should be called AC Milano by the italians... In bwin.com , our sponsor... on the portuguese version there's always "AC Milão" ... I've sent an email, but I think nothing will change... what a stupidity. If the city of Milano is called Mailand in Germany, well it's called like that. I don't like it too, I think Milan sounds much better AND it is the clubs name. But you can't blame anyone for calling the club AC Milao or AC Mailand or whatever.
