You probably already know, but just in case...
QUOTE Major League Soccer's D.C. United will host Italy's AC Milan in an exhibition match May 26 at RFK Stadium. It will be the clubs' first match against each other. D.C. United president Kevin Payne said Monday the game will be "a great test for our players." He also said D.C. United could add games against "two other major European clubs." Because the game is less than three weeks before the World Cup, AC Milan won't have any of its stars who will be with national teams. ESPNsoccernet.com |

This fish is annoyed with Ticketmaster and DC United. Tickets for the Milan game went on sale today and the only seats on offer are in the upper stands, behind the corners, or way back in the covered area on the bottom level (in other words, the crappy tickets). DC United doesn't come close to selling the rest of the tickets so I'm trying to see if I can get better seats. Gr.

Certain seats are probably reserved for season ticket holders, but other than that I can't see why they wouldn't list more available. I'm impatient as can be for Chicago, still no announcements or anything other than ACmilan.com and their blog. My only guess is the Fire are trying to sell tickets for a "sister city" tournament in mid-May before announcing this, but I'd imagine the news would be SOMEWHERE by now! |
