Well, I am kind off pleased with coach Carlo...after all, he managed us out of the Zacch and Terim days and continued the Milan legacy (naturally, not only Carlo (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ). Now he is confronted with the ultimative test - to build a new Milan generation...well is he the right one (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) ?

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ May 29 2006, 09:05 PM)
I´ve been thinking more of a domicil coach, maybe a former player (our tradition...). Well, it seems that Donadoni did well with Livorno. And where is Gullit these days? Also, why not try Tassotti or Baresi? I know it´s kind off risky but still... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) . Altough Hiddink would be also good. But I feel that Rijkaard might be the next one, after this season (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) !

I think you're underestimating the job...Being a great footballer doesn't mean you can coach too...Most former players are useless as coaches!!Donadoni did a great job though, he'll be a good choice when Ancelotti's gone!

QUOTE (han2503 @ May 29 2006, 11:04 PM)
When I saw one of the poll questions about how he should be sacked because of 2 trophyless seasons that is exactly what I thought, how can you win a league when it has already bin fixed so that another team will surely win it. Not even the greatest coach there is out there right now could have effected the outcome of the last 2 seasons because even if we were winning it moggi would have done "something" to change things around. So to me the last 2 seasons don't count as failures because there was nothing we could do about them
*

On the other hand we won the calcio two years ago...wasn't Juve cheating back then???I'm not offending Ance here, it's just a thought...And this year yeah we got 88 points but it wasn't that good a year..I mean we were definetely a better team two years ago and you know statistics are mostly bullsh!t... Yes, if you had asked me this two years, I would have answered just like you did. But something is happening, and I can´t miss that - do you see the trend these last years? Good or famous ex-players grow into coaches practically over night, and not at some amateur level clubs, but at high and responsible positions. For example, Marco Van Basten or Jürgen Klinsmann, appointed as national coaches without any experience (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . For me, this would be unacceptable. And yes I know that NC jobs are not the same as CC jobs, still...Look at the clubs too - Sammer, Matthäus, even Mancini...So, I think the era of serious or grave coaches, like Nereo Rocco or some others is over. More and more players grow directly from the playing ground to the coaching bench. And I sugested Baresi cause he is a Milan icon with emense charisma and respect, so je would not be bad, maybe as a assistaint (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .

As for Mourinho at Milan...Nooooo (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) ! We dont need that kind of people here! He is a selfish destructionst who works only for his purposes and his methods are absolutely contrary to that of Milan. He is a one man show coach, and I am happy if he stays at Chelsea and continues his shows there. Can someone imagine what would be Joses reaction, hypothetical, on Ancelottis place now? After realizeing that Milan fighted two seasons (mmm to be honest, I doubt in some past Juve titles too, (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) ) for the scudetto and, should have won, but Juve cheated (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) ! He would blast of the whole Seria A and Milan altogether..Uhhh, and have you seen his reaction to Drogbas statement? No, no, he is a man without respect to anything. And Milan and his players, and fans, deserve much respect (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) .
